Exactly What Are The Benefits Of Same Day Crowns?

There are multiple benefits to having treatment with same day crowns over traditional, laboratory-made restorations.

  • Everything is carried out in a single visit, you just have to visit the dentist one time, take one day away from your life to have the treatment, instead of the normal two or 3 appointments.

  • Only one set of local, given that the entire treatment can be carried out within an hour you only need to have one injection.

  • Your dentist is in complete control of the final result, since the crown or inlay are designed and produced from start to finish by your dental practitioner, they have overall control over how it will look and fit.

The Conversation For Today Is:

Digital X-Rays

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental problems.

Identifying issues with x-rays before they end up being problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the need for more extensive, pricey treatments or surgeries. X-rays are mainly utilized to identify:

  • Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).

  • Impacted teeth.

  • Teeth that are still coming in.

  • Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.

  • Internal tooth decay.

Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have multiple advantages over traditional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays allow us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from traditional dental x-rays. The concern of direct exposure to excess radiation is removed.

Big on-screen X-rays make client communication more effective. The instant observation of the images on the screen enables us to discuss your dental health quickly and accurately.

Digital radiography has greatly improved the practice of dentistry. It enables the patient and the medical professional to see images of the teeth in higher resolution on a large format for easier detection of issues, all while reducing the radiation exposure to the client. The process we use further defines the radiograph, leading to clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.

Images are available instantly after exposure, getting rid of the wait and effort spent developing and mounting x-rays. If an image has to be retaken, it can be done immediately. Digital format also allows us to send and receive your images digitally for consultation that can be presented to you quickly.
