BONDING OR VENEERS

Same day crowns are an sophisticated dental technology that is used for the restoration of decayed, split, or cracked teeth. This innovation can create complete crowns, onlays, inlays, and veneers. The same day crown machine crafts a restoration in a matter of minutes.

Same day crown restorations are made from compressed porcelain. It is for this reason that they are stronger than laboratory restorations, which are layered porcelain. The most beneficial feature of receiving a same day crown restoration is that it is achieved in one appointment. In addition to the advantage of a one visit restoration, there is no uncomfortable impression product to bite on or a short-term crown to wear.

The procedure for placement of a same day crown restoration is really basic. The primary step is to remove all decay from the tooth. The dentist will then form the tooth in preparation to take a digital image. The tooth is then sprayed with a extremely fine powder. This permits the digital camera to take an appropriate image. Once this image is recorded, the tooth will appear on a computer screen in 3D. This will permit the dental practitioner to design the restoration right in front of you.

When the design is completed, the same day crown machine will mill the restoration. This step takes approximately 15 minutes. You can actually watch this process if you would like. When the restoration is completed milling, the dentist will position the restoration on your tooth.

The Conversation Of The Day Will Be:

Dental Bonding (Composite)

Bonding is a treatment in which we use a tooth-colored composite product to a tooth, shape it, allow it to harden, and polish it. It can be used in certain circumstances where a tooth has been damaged or become stained. These are generally small repairs, ones that can be resolved through this fairly inexpensive ways rather than through a more expensive dental treatment.

Here's How It Works:
Bonding involves adhering composite resin material that is matched to the color of the tooth, to the front of the tooth. This is done to repair damage done to the tooth by decay, to modify the alignment of the tooth, close spaces in between the teeth, or for cosmetic purposes. First the surface of the tooth is roughed up in order to accept the bonding and hold it. A gel is applied to micro etch the tooth surface, and a primer/bond agent is used so the material sticks to the surface area. Then the material itself is positioned on the tooth and hardened with intense light. The composite resin material is shaped and polished to get a glossy finish as a last step.
