Schedule an appointment for same day crowns in our office today. Our office is pleased to have the most recent innovation for same day crowns.

We always remain on the cutting-edge for our valued clients!

What Are Same Day Dental Crowns?

It is a technology for fixing damaged teeth, and this restoration can be finished in a single visit to our office. It makes your teeth stronger and more stunning - all while keeping your teeth looking natural. The restoration is metal-free and the high-grade ceramic material and works with the natural tissue found in your mouth.

During your appointment, you and your dental practitioner will discuss the details of the treatment and your dentist will address any questions you might have relating to the treatment or porcelain crowns in general.

Your dental practitioner will then apply a thin layer of reflective powder onto your tooth and will use a special 3D imaging camera to take a photo of your tooth. Using the brand-new exclusive software, your restoration will be created according to your tooth's suitable shape and function.

Then, it will use a diamond burs to produce your restoration out of a piece of ceramic. Finally, the ceramic restoration is bonded to your tooth using cutting edge adhesive dentistry.

CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take accurate digital imagery of areas requiring restoration and produce the appropriate restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in just one visit. We will develop and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to fabricate your crown.

CEREC can be utilized for a broad scope of indications: veneers, inlays, onlays, partial crowns, posterior crowns and anterior crowns.

Today's Subject Will Be:

Digital X-Rays

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental problems.

Finding problems with x-rays before they end up being problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the need for more extensive, pricey treatments or surgeries. X-rays are mainly used to detect:

  • Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).

  • Impacted teeth.

  • Teeth that are still coming in.

  • Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.

  • Internal tooth decay.

Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have numerous advantages over conventional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays enable us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from traditional dental x-rays. The worry of exposure to excess radiation is removed.

Large on-screen X-rays make client communication more effective. The instant observation of the images on the screen enables us to discuss your dental health quickly and properly.

Digital radiography has greatly improved the practice of dentistry. It enables the client and the medical professional to see images of the teeth in greater resolution on a large format for easier detection of issues, all while decreasing the radiation exposure to the patient. The procedure we use further defines the radiograph, resulting in clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.

Images are available quickly after exposure, removing the wait and effort spent developing and installing x-rays. If an image needs to be retaken, it can be done immediately. Digital format also enables us to send and get your images digitally for consultation that can be presented to you quickly.
