Thanks to ingenious modern innovations, we are proud to present the capability to offer you with same day crowns - that's right, a new crown in just one appointment! Here's how it works.

First, high resolution digital 3-D impressions are taken with a small camera, a special camera established just for this function.

Step two, the brand-new software assesses the entire image and uses the results to calculate a number of exceptional restoration possibilities. Next those possibilities are examined and refined by the dentist and the last restoration plan is chosen.

Step 3 your brand-new crown is made by the cerec device right in our office and put in your mouth, all in one visit!

If you wish to understand more about the same day crown treatment, call our office and we would be more than happy to assist you.

Same Day Teeth Restorations

CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take exact digital images of locations needing restoration and produce the proper restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in just one visit. We will develop and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. Today We Will Be Going Over:

Teeth Whitening

Because having whiter teeth has now become the primary aesthetic concern of most clients, there are a number of ways to bleach teeth. The most popular technique is using a home tooth bleaching system that will bleach teeth significantly. Since tooth lightening only works on natural tooth enamel, it is very important to evaluate replacement of any old fillings, crowns, and so on. Replacement of any restorations will be done after lightening so they will match the freshly bleached teeth.

Most dentists use a number of techniques: customizeded tray bleaching, professional strength white strips, and in-office lightening.

The tray technique involves having impressions taken, which the laboratory makes into custom-made vinyl trays. A carbamide peroxide gel is put in these trays and the trays with gel are worn for about 30 minutes to a full hour. The whole procedure takes about a week of everyday use. Three different strengths of gel might be used, however, the greater the strength, the higher the probability of reactions or tooth sensitivity. The tray method is advised for badly stained teeth, such as tetracycline staining, and it might take numerous months of use to see substantial color improvement.

Our in-office treatment is a very fast and convenient bleaching process. The appointment is approximately one hour including both the preparation and treatment. Our patients love this treatment because it is so easy and quick!

Tooth bleaching is not permanent. A touch-up might be needed once a year and more often if you smoke and/or drink coffee, tea, or wine. For maintenance of whitened teeth the trays must be utilized every couple of months.

Reasons For Tooth Whitening:

  • Yellow, brown stained teeth.

  • Normal wear of external tooth layer.

  • Florousis (extreme fluoridation during tooth development).

  • Stained teeth due to medications (tetracycline, and so on).
