Same Day Crowns At A Family Dentist Near You

Same Day Crowns technology has altered how dental treatments will be done from now on. If crowns, onlays, inlays or dental veneers were required to restore damaged teeth, it used to suggest multiple visits, a great deal of hassle, and often a lot of money.

This brand-new innovation makes these ceramic restorations within minutes in the dental office. It is comprised of numerous computer-assisted design (CAD) tools and a milling machine that produces custom ceramic restorative devices. It also can make nearly any ceramic restoration to order, indicating the dental practitioner can position it immediately. This is of excellent benefit to a worried client, and it can also decrease the expense of treatment.

Same Day Crown Restorations

CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take exact digital images of locations requiring restoration and produce the appropriate restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in just one visit. We will create and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to make your crown.

CEREC can be utilized for a full scope of indications: anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, onlays, partial crowns and posterior crowns.

Today's Subject Is:

Composite Dental Bonding

Bonding is a procedure where we apply a tooth-colored composite product to a tooth, shape it, allow it to solidify, and polish it. It can be utilized in specific situations where a tooth has been damaged or ended up being stained. These are normally minor repairs, ones that can be resolved through this relatively affordable means rather than through a more costly dental procedure.

Here Is How It Works:
Bonding includes adhering composite resin material that is matched to the color of the tooth, to the front of the tooth. This is done to repair damage done to the tooth by decay, to alter the positioning of the tooth, close gaps in between the teeth, or for cosmetic purposes. First the surface of the tooth is roughed up in order to accept the bonding and hold it. A gel is applied to micro etch the tooth surface area, and a primer/bond agent is applied so the material sticks to the surface. Then the material itself is put on the tooth and solidified with intense light. The composite resin material is shaped and polished to get a glossy finish as a last step.
