Same Day Crown Restorations
CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take exact digital images of areas requiring restoration and produce the appropriate restoration on the spot.
With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in simply one visit. We will design and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to make your crown.
CEREC can be utilized for a broad range of indications: partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, and onlays.

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental issues.
Discovering problems with x-rays before they become problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the need for more extensive, costly procedures or surgeries. X-rays are mainly used to find:
- Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).
- Impacted teeth.
- Teeth that are still coming in.
- Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.
- Internal tooth decay.
Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have numerous advantages over traditional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays enable us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from conventional dental x-rays. The worry of exposure to excess radiation is eliminated.
Huge on-screen X-rays make client communication more effective. The instant observation of the images on the screen allows us to discuss your dental health quickly and properly.
Digital radiography has greatly enhanced the practice of dentistry. It enables the patient and the medical professional to see images of the teeth in higher resolution on a big format for easier detection of issues, all while decreasing the radiation exposure to the patient. The process we use further defines the radiograph, leading to clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.
Images are available instantly after exposure, removing the wait and effort spent developing and mounting x-rays. If an image has to be retaken, it can be done instantly. Digital format also allows us to send and receive your images electronically for consultation that can be provided to you rapidly.
