Same Day Crown Restorations
CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take precise digital imagery of areas requiring restoration and produce the suitable restoration on the spot.
With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in just one visit. We will design and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to make your crown.
CEREC can be used for a wide range of indications: partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, and onlays.

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental issues.
Finding problems with x-rays before they end up being problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the need for more extensive, pricey procedures or surgeries. X-rays are mainly utilized to detect:
- Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).
- Impacted teeth.
- Teeth that are still coming in.
- Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.
- Internal tooth decay.
Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have a number of advantages over conventional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays enable us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from conventional dental x-rays. The concern of direct exposure to excess radiation is eliminated.
Large on-screen X-rays make client communication more efficient. The immediate observation of the images on the screen allows us to discuss your dental health quickly and precisely.
Digital radiography has significantly improved the practice of dentistry. It allows the client and the medical professional to see pictures of the teeth in greater resolution on a huge format for much easier detection of issues, all while reducing the radiation direct exposure to the patient. The procedure we use further defines the radiograph, leading to clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.
Images are available quickly after exposure, removing the wait and effort spent developing and installing x-rays. If an image needs to be retaken, it can be done immediately. Digital format also allows us to send out and get your images digitally for consultation that can be presented to you quickly.
