We are your local dentist for single-visit tooth restorations. Why go to the dental practitioner a 2nd time if you don't have to? One appointment, one shot and no impressions. Schedule a visit for same day crowns in our office today. Our office is pleased to have the most recent innovation for same day crowns.

We always stay on the cutting-edge for our valued patients!

What Are Single Visit Crowns?

It is a technology for fixing broken teeth, and this restoration can be completed in a single visit to our office. It makes your teeth tougher and more stunning - all while keeping your teeth looking natural. The restoration is metal-free and the state-of-the-art ceramic material and works with the natural tissue found in your mouth.

During your appointment, you and your dentist will go over the details of the procedure and your dentist will answer any concerns you may have concerning the procedure or porcelain crowns in general.

Your dentist will then use a thin layer of reflective powder onto your tooth and will use a special 3D imaging camera to take a photo of your tooth. Using the new exclusive software, your restoration will be designed according to your tooth's appropriate shape and function.

Then, it will use a diamond burs to produce your restoration from a piece of ceramic. Finally, the ceramic restoration is bonded to your tooth using state-of-the-art adhesive dentistry.

Same Day Teeth Restorations

CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take accurate digital imagery of locations requiring restoration and produce the proper restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in simply one visit. We will develop and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to produce your crown.

CEREC can be used for a wide range of indications: partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, and onlays.

Today's Topic Is:

Porcelain Teeth Veneers

Veneers are a really thin pieces of resilient, tooth shaped, porcelain that are customizeded (for shape and color) by a professional dental lab. They are bonded onto the front of teeth to produce a beautiful and attractive smile.

Veneers can entirely reshape your teeth and smile. They can commonly be alternatives to crowns and the ideal option in treating many cosmetic dental conditions for the front teeth.

Similar to the majority of dental restorations, veneers may someday require replacement; however, they are still extremely long lasting and will last multiple years, giving you a long lasting, beautiful smile.

How Are Veneers Set?

Veneers are a dental procedure in which a covering is put over the outside (noticeable area) of the tooth. Veneers are normally only done to the part of the teeth that are seen when talking or smiling. The procedure can be direct or indirect.

The direct technique typically involves positioning composite resin on the outside of the tooth using bonding. This approach is generally referred to as bonding.

The indirect strategy usually involves 2 visits because the veneers will be fabricated at a dental laboratory. At the very first visit the teeth are prepared, impressions taken, and the teeth are given a temporary covering. In 2 to 3 weeks the veneers are back from the laboratory, the temporaries are removed and the veneers are bonded to the teeth. The laboratory produced veneers are typically made using porcelain or pressed ceramic, and are extremely esthetic.

The benefit of veneers versus crowns is that much less tooth material is eliminated, and the procedure is typically less uncomfortable. Veneers are not recommended for teeth that have huge fillings or little tooth structure.

You will receive care guidelines for your veneers. Correct brushing, flossing and routine dental visits will aid in the life of your new and beautiful veneers.
