We always remain on the cutting-edge for our valued clients!

What Are Single Visit Dental Crowns?

It is a technology for restoring broken teeth, and this restoration can be completed in a single visit to our office. It makes your teeth stronger and more stunning - all while keeping your teeth looking natural. The restoration is metal-free and the top-quality ceramic material and works with the natural tissue found in your mouth.

During your appointment, you and your dental practitioner will discuss the details of the procedure and your dental practitioner will answer any concerns you might have regarding the treatment or porcelain crowns in general.

Your dental practitioner will then apply a thin layer of reflective powder onto your tooth and will use a special 3D imaging camera to take a photo of your tooth. Using the brand-new exclusive software, your restoration will be created according to your tooth's suitable form and function.

Then, it will use a diamond burs to produce your restoration from a piece of ceramic. Finally, the ceramic restoration is bonded to your tooth using advanced adhesive dentistry.

Teeth Whitening

Because having whiter teeth has now become the number one aesthetic concern of many patients, there are numerous ways to lighten teeth. The most popular method is utilizing a home tooth whitening system that will bleach teeth dramatically. Because tooth bleaching just works on natural tooth enamel, it is important to evaluate replacement of any old fillings, crowns, and so on. Replacement of any restorations will be done after whitening so they will match the freshly bleached teeth.

Most dentists use numerous approaches: custom made tray bleaching, professional strength white strips, and in-office bleaching.

The tray approach involves having impressions taken, which the laboratory makes into custom-made vinyl trays. A carbamide peroxide gel is placed in these trays and the trays with gel are worn for about 30 minutes to a full hour. The entire process takes about a week of everyday use. 3 different strengths of gel might be utilized, however, the greater the strength, the higher the probability of reactions or tooth sensitivity. The tray method is recommended for severely stained teeth, such as tetracycline staining, and it might take multiple months of use to see considerable color improvement.

Our in-office treatment is a very quick and convenient whitening procedure. The appointment is roughly one hour consisting of both the preparation and treatment. Our clients love this treatment since it is so simple and quick!

Tooth lightening is not permanent. A touch-up may be required once a year and more often if you smoke and/or drink coffee, tea, or wine. For upkeep of whitened teeth the trays should be utilized every couple of months.

Reasons For Tooth Whitening:

  • Yellow, brown stained teeth.

  • Normal wear of outer tooth layer.

  • Florousis (extreme fluoridation during tooth development).

  • Stained teeth due to medications (tetracycline, and so on).
