What Are Single Visit Crowns?

The single visit crown is a innovation for restoring damaged teeth, and this restoration can be finished in a single visit to the dental practitioner's office. It makes your teeth stronger and more stunning, all while keeping your teeth looking natural. The restoration is metal-free, and the top-quality ceramic material works with the natural tissue found in your mouth.

More About The Same Day Crown Process

Throughout your appointment, you and your dental practitioner will discuss the information of the treatment and your dental practitioner will answer any concerns you may have. Your dentist will then use a thin layer of reflective powder onto your tooth and will use a special 3D imaging camera to take a photo of your tooth. Using the new software, your restoration will be developed according to your tooth's proper form and function.

Then, the mill will use diamond burs to produce your restoration from a piece of ceramic. Finally, the ceramic restoration is bonded to your tooth using cutting edge adhesive dentistry.

Composite Dental Bonding

Bonding is a procedure in which we apply a tooth-colored composite material to a tooth, shape it, allow it to harden, and polish it. It can be utilized in specific situations where a tooth has actually been broken or become stained. These are usually small repairs, ones that can be resolved through this reasonably inexpensive methods rather than through a more pricey dental procedure.

Here's How It Works:
Bonding includes adhering composite resin material that is matched to the color of the tooth, to the front of the tooth. This is done to fix damage done to the tooth by decay, to alter the alignment of the tooth, close gaps in between the teeth, or for cosmetic purposes. First the surface area of the tooth is roughened in order to accept the bonding and hold it. A gel is applied to micro etch the tooth surface area, and a primer/bond agent is used so the material sticks to the surface. Then the material itself is placed on the tooth and solidified with intense light. The composite resin material is shaped and polished to get a lustrous finish as a last step.
