Same day crowns
In the past, getting dental crowns implied coming into the dentist's office a minimum of 2 times. The very first check-up involved getting an impression of your tooth and a temporary crown. Then, a couple of weeks later, a 2nd visit allowed for the temporary crown to be eliminated and a brand-new long-term crown to be positioned on your tooth. We use the latest technology to make dental work more convenient for you and your day to day schedule, with same day crowns.

Getting Dental Crowns
We are proud to use a cutting edge same day crown technology to develop ceramic onlays and crowns that fit just right, in just one visit with a little camera to produce a 3D image of the tooth that has to be repaired. This means a physical mold, which is unpleasant and time consuming, is no longer needed.

Using CAD/CAM software, We produce a perfectly fitting restoration using an on-site milling machine. This technology can develop the brand-new restoration in as little as 15 minutes.

The restoration is glued to your tooth using a bonding material, and the new addition will match your natural teeth so no one will ever know you had a repair.

Call us today for additional information about same day crowns innovation, and take care of those issues you might have been putting off.

Same Day Crowns Restorations

CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take accurate digital imagery of areas needing restoration and produce the proper restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in simply one visit. We will develop and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to fabricate your crown.

CEREC can be used in a full scope of indications: onlays, partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers and inlays.

Today We Will Be Talking About:

Composite Dental Bonding

Bonding is a treatment in which we use a tooth-colored composite material to a tooth, shape it, allow it to harden, and polish it. It can be used in specific circumstances where a tooth has been damaged or ended up being stained. These are usually small repairs, ones that can be resolved through this reasonably affordable methods instead of through a more pricey dental treatment.

How It Works:
Bonding includes adhering composite resin material that is matched to the color of the tooth, to the front of the tooth. This is done to repair damage done to the tooth by decay, to modify the positioning of the tooth, close spaces between the teeth, or for cosmetic purposes. First the surface area of the tooth is roughened in order to accept the bonding and hold it. A gel is applied to micro etch the tooth surface, and a primer/bond agent is applied so the material sticks to the surface. Then the material itself is positioned on the tooth and hardened with intense light. The composite resin material is formed and polished to obtain a lustrous finish as a last step.
