Our practice likes brand-new innovations, especially when it enhances the dental care that we can provide to our clients. Because of this we now provide same day crowns.

Same day crowns are a remarkable brand-new innovation where lovely all porcelain crowns are produced within two hours of the preparation of a tooth for a crown. The old process was where the dentist prepared your tooth for a crown, took an impression and sent this impression to a lab to get the crown constructed. Throughout this time the client would have to wear a short-term plastic crown that was always uncomfy.

Today, our equipment enables us to scan the tooth preparation and mill out a brand-new all porcelain crown within 2 hours. This means that the client leaves our practice with the final crown that day!

  • There's no need to have a short-term crown for 2 to 3 weeks.

  • There is no need to return again to have the single day crown placed on your tooth.

  • There is no need to be numbed again! No more shots!

Our office chooses same day crowns due to the fact that it is made of lovely material as well as very long lasting.

If your thinking about a same day crown, please give our office a call.

Today Were Talking About:

Porcelain Tooth Veneers

Veneers are a very thin pieces of resilient, tooth shaped, porcelain that are customizeded (for shape and color) by a professional dental laboratory. They are bonded onto the front of teeth to create a gorgeous and appealing smile.

Veneers can entirely reshape your teeth and smile. They can typically be alternatives to crowns and the perfect solution in treating numerous cosmetic dental conditions for the front teeth.

Similar to most dental restorations, veneers may someday require replacement; however, they are still really long lasting and will last many years, giving you a long lasting, stunning smile.

How Are Veneers Placed?

Veneers are a dental treatment in which a covering is put over the outside (visible area) of the tooth. Veneers are normally only done to the part of the teeth that are seen when talking or smiling. The procedure can be direct or indirect.

The direct method generally involves placing composite resin on the outside of the tooth using bonding. This approach is typically referred to as bonding.

The indirect strategy usually involves two visits because the veneers will be produced at a dental laboratory. At the very first visit the teeth are prepared, impressions taken, and the teeth are given a short-term covering. In two to three weeks the veneers are back from the laboratory, the temporaries are removed and the veneers are bonded to the teeth. The laboratory made veneers are typically made using porcelain or pressed ceramic, and are very esthetic.

The advantage of veneers versus crowns is that much less tooth material is eliminated, and the procedure is usually less unpleasant. Veneers are not advised for teeth that have large fillings or little tooth structure.

You will receive care guidelines for your veneers. Correct brushing, flossing and regular dental visits will aid in the life of your new and stunning veneers.
