  • Comfort: With same day crowns, there is no need for a temporary crown, eliminating significant potential pain.

  • Looks: The strong, tooth-colored ceramic products of same day crowns restore your teeth to their natural strength, charm, and function, and closely match the composition of your natural tooth structure.

  • Strength: Milled ceramic is stronger than the traditional method of layering and pressing, so your smile will remain gorgeous for multiple years!

Today's Subject Is:

Dental Bonding (Composite)

Bonding is a procedure where we apply a tooth-colored composite material to a tooth, shape it, allow it to harden, and polish it. It can be used in specific circumstances where a tooth has actually been damaged or ended up being stained. These are usually minor repairs, ones that can be resolved through this relatively inexpensive methods rather than through a more costly dental procedure.

Here Is How It Works:
Bonding involves adhering composite resin material that is matched to the color of the tooth, to the front of the tooth. This is done to fix damage done to the tooth by decay, to change the positioning of the tooth, close gaps between the teeth, or for cosmetic purposes. First the surface area of the tooth is roughed up in order to accept the bonding and hold it. A gel is applied to micro etch the tooth surface area, and a primer/bond agent is used so the material sticks to the surface area. Then the material itself is placed on the tooth and solidified with intense light. The composite resin material is formed and polished to obtain a shiny finish as a last step.
