Are you short on time? We offer same day crown restorations! This brand-new technology allows our staff to carry out a variety of dental restorations in just one appointment! Same day crown restorations offer your tooth a natural match to the rest of your teeth, and can help to reserve the healthy part of that tooth.

Why get a same day crown instead of a conventional one?

Less time in the dental chair (Just one visit that lasts two hours) half the number of visits, fewer anesthetics, less tooth structure is lost in many cases, we can make the majority of the preparations for these crowns without cutting away too much of your natural tooth.

Once the design procedure begins, you are free to move about the office and even have extra dentistry such as fillings. There is about a 20 minute period in the middle of the appointment where the crown unit is being made.

Same day crowns are green (eco-friendly) and are reliable and saves you money. (Fewer products used, & fewer appointments mean less miles driven in your {car|vehicle).

Today's Subject Is:

Porcelain Veneers (Teeth)

Veneers are a really thin pieces of durable, tooth shaped, porcelain that are customizeded (for shape and color) by a professional dental lab. They are bonded onto the front of teeth to produce a lovely and attractive smile.

Veneers can completely reshape your teeth and smile. They can often be alternatives to crowns and the perfect option in treating numerous cosmetic dental conditions for the front teeth.

As with the majority of dental restorations, veneers may one day need replacement; however, they are still extremely long lasting and will last many years, offering you a long lasting, stunning smile.

How Are Veneers Set?

Veneers are a dental treatment in which a covering is put over the outside (noticeable area) of the tooth. Veneers are normally only done to the part of the teeth that are visible when talking or smiling. The treatment can be direct or indirect.

The direct strategy typically involves placing composite resin on the outside of the tooth using bonding. This method is usually referred to as bonding.

The indirect strategy typically involves 2 visits because the veneers will be made at a dental lab. At the very first visit the teeth are prepared, impressions taken, and the teeth are provided a short-term covering. In two to three weeks the veneers are back from the laboratory, the temporaries are removed and the veneers are bonded to the teeth. The laboratory fabricated veneers are normally made using porcelain or pressed ceramic, and are extremely esthetic.

The advantage of veneers versus crowns is that much less tooth material is removed, and the procedure is typically less uncomfortable. Veneers are not suggested for teeth that have huge fillings or little tooth structure.

You will get care instructions for your veneers. Correct brushing, flossing and routine dental visits will help in the life of your new and stunning veneers.
