Why Get Single Visit Dental Crowns?

There are numerous benefits of using same day crown over traditional crown innovation.

  • Time: Same day crowns are made in one appointment, saving you significant time away from your job and family.

  • Comfort: With same day crowns, there is no requirement for a temporary crown, eliminating substantial possible discomfort.

  • Visual appeals: The strong, tooth-colored ceramic products of same day crowns restore your teeth to their natural strength, appeal, and function, and closely match the composition of your natural tooth structure.

  • Strength: Milled ceramic is tougher than the traditional technique of layering and pressing, so your smile will stay stunning for many years!

  • Fillings: Same day crown material and technology can also be used for fillings. Because these fillings are constructed out of porcelain, they are longer lasting than white composite fillings.

Same Day Crowns Restorations

CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take precise digital images of locations needing restoration and produce the suitable restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in simply one visit. We will develop and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to produce your crown.

CEREC can be used in a wide range of indications: posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, onlays and partial crowns.

Today's Subject Will Be:

Digital X-Rays

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental problems.

Identifying problems with x-rays before they end up being problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the need for more extensive, costly procedures or surgeries. X-rays are mostly used to identify:

  • Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).

  • Impacted teeth.

  • Teeth that are still coming in.

  • Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.

  • Internal tooth decay.

Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have numerous advantages over conventional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays allow us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from conventional dental x-rays. The concern of direct exposure to excess radiation is removed.

Huge on-screen X-rays make patient communication more effective. The immediate observation of the images on the screen enables us to discuss your dental health quickly and precisely.

Digital radiography has greatly enhanced the practice of dentistry. It enables the patient and the physician to see pictures of the teeth in higher resolution on a large format for much easier detection of issues, all while reducing the radiation exposure to the patient. The procedure we use further defines the radiograph, leading to clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.

Images are available quickly after exposure, getting rid of the wait and effort spent developing and installing x-rays. If an image has to be retaken, it can be done immediately. Digital format also enables us to send out and get your images digitally for consultation that can be presented to you rapidly.
