Here at our practice, we know how vital a beautiful, healthy smile is for your social and business interactions. We also understand how much a beautiful grin can contribute to your psychological and physical health.

Medical research has shown that smiling enhances your mood, decreases your high blood pressure, and increases your immunity.

All of which explains why our dentists and our experienced team offers a range these days's most efficient restorative dentistry services.

Using fantastic restorative dentistry techniques like dental implants, root canal treatment, gum therapy, and same day crowns, we can help our patients fix their teeth and restore their smiles.

Same Day Teeth Restorations

CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take precise digital imagery of locations requiring restoration and produce the appropriate restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in just one visit. We will develop and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to fabricate your crown.

CEREC can be used for a wide scope of indications: onlays, partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers and inlays.

The Topic For Today Will Be:

Teeth Veneers (Porcelain)

Veneers are a really thin pieces of resilient, tooth shaped, porcelain that are customizeded (for shape and color) by a professional dental laboratory. They are bonded onto the front of teeth to produce a beautiful and attractive smile.

Veneers can entirely improve your teeth and smile. They can commonly be alternatives to crowns and the ideal option in treating numerous cosmetic dental conditions for the front teeth.

As with many dental restorations, veneers may at some point require replacement; however, they are still extremely resilient and will last multiple years, giving you a long lasting, stunning smile.

How Are Veneers Placed?

Veneers are a dental treatment where a covering is put over the outside (noticeable area) of the tooth. Veneers are generally only done to the part of the teeth that are visible when talking or grinning. The treatment can be direct or indirect.

The direct technique typically involves positioning composite resin on the outside of the tooth using bonding. This technique is typically referred to as bonding.

The indirect strategy generally involves 2 visits because the veneers will be fabricated at a dental lab. At the first visit the teeth are prepared, impressions taken, and the teeth are provided a temporary covering. In two to three weeks the veneers are back from the laboratory, the temporaries are removed and the veneers are bonded to the teeth. The lab made veneers are usually made using porcelain or pressed ceramic, and are really esthetic.

The advantage of veneers versus crowns is that much less tooth material is removed, and the treatment is usually less uncomfortable. Veneers are not advised for teeth that have large fillings or little tooth structure.

You will get care guidelines for your veneers. Appropriate brushing, flossing and regular dental visits will aid in the life of your brand-new and stunning veneers.
