Below are a few of the benefits of same day crown innovation, which crafts excellent same day dental crowns and same day inlays and onlays.

By far the best advantage of same day crown dental restoration innovation is the time you'll conserve. Typically, getting a dental restoration will involve 2 different appointments to your dental practitioner's office that are weeks apart. Multiple visits} are required due to the fact that the final dental restoration has to be crafted at an off-site dental lab. With same day crown technology, dental restorations are crafted in-office. There's no have to get multiple days off work or rearrange your schedule. One visit is all you'll need.

They Are Custom Designed

The same day crown machine uses the current technology to produce a digital impression of your teeth. Using this 3 dimensional digital model, this machine then creates a custom restoration that fits seamlessly with the broken tooth and your adjacent teeth.

They Are Tough

Even though same day crown restorations are crafted and produced on-site, the restorations themselves are exceptionally long lasting. In fact, the restorations that are crafted by these devices are roughly 3 times as strong as the dental restorations that are crafted at a dental lab.

They Look Natural

In addition to their strength and durability, same day crown dental restorations blend in perfectly with your smile. The inlays and onlays from the same day crown device have a sort of chameleon effect. When in place, they take on the color and distinct shadings of the fixed tooth, meaning that your smile will look excellent and, more importantly, look natural.

Same Day Tooth Restorations

CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take accurate digital imagery of locations needing restoration and produce the suitable restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in simply one visit. We will design and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to produce your crown.

TMJ (Temporal Mandibular Joint)

TMJ means temporal-mandibular joint. Temporal, as in temple area of skull; mandibular as in mandible, or lower jaw; joint as in it's where the head and jaw meet. Issues in this joint might be caused by a misalignment of the teeth, trauma, or excess muscle tension. Aside from the two bones that meet there, cartilage buffers them and 5 muscles are involved in the area. If something goes wrong a good deal of trouble can result.

Problems in this area can trigger:

  • Earaches.

  • Headaches.

  • Pain in the jaw muscles.

  • Trouble in opening and closing the mouth.

  • Soreness in the area, in some cases extending to the face.

  • Clicking or popping of the jaw.

Dental treatments for the condition can consist of replacing missing teeth, moving teeth, adjusting the bite, filling spaces between teeth, and so on. There is no one solution that is right for all cases. Often a plastic mouthpiece is used to prevent clenching or grinding that is adding to the issue. If unattended and required to extremes, surgery might be required to fix a terribly damaged joint.
