We believe you will be extremely interested to know that at our practice, you are able to receive same day crowns! It is a comfy one-day procedure!

Our whole dental practice is cutting edge, except for our patient care and concern which is standard. We understand the discomfort missing teeth can cause clients, and because of that we are very pleased to be able to supply clients with same day crowns.

Dental crowns are used to enhance a tooth, and return it to its initial function. Dental crowns are made to color-match the surrounding teeth, so they can not be spotted by others as being anything less than a long-term tooth. With a dental crown, you have the ability to eat anything you like, and your clear speech will never be disrupted. In fact, your dental crown is so natural feeling, you will not even know it exists in your mouth.

Same day crowns are a very exciting offering of our practice. We have the ability to offer you with a gorgeous new smile in just one day. Our office has cutting edge devices that allows dentists to supply you with crowns in just a small fraction of the time that was needed previously.

CAD/CAM innovation is exactly what makes this amazing advancement possible. The acronym means computer-aided design/computed-aided manufacturing. We have the ability to use this technology in our system. This system is used to fix teeth, start to finish, in one day. This will save you from an additional appointment to our practice, a week or two later. We're sure you have far more exciting things you would rather do with your time than to sit in our dental practitioner's chair any longer than you need to!

Using our new system, we scan the readied tooth in your mouth or from an impression, and after that send the details to our in-office milling station. The restoration is computer-milled to the specific specifications to fit your mouth in minutes. As soon as the crown is crated, we put it in your mouth, and color, polish and restore your brand-new tooth to a beautiful and natural-looking appeal. This technology can also be used for same-day veneers or inlays.

If you need a crown in a hurry, for an upcoming social or company event, this process might certainly be ideal for you. If you have an interest in finding out more about this process, call us today for an appointment.

Today's Conversation Will Be About:

Fillings

Fillings are done to remove decay, and replace the affected tooth structure. It is called a filling due to the fact that brand-new material fills the hole that the decay left. Now days most teeth are treated with bonded tooth colored composite resin fillings. Caught early enough, cavities can be treated easily and painlessly. If not treated, decay can lead to tooth discomfort and/or infection, and the tooth would require a root canal treatment or extraction.

There are 2 kinds of fillings; amalgam or silver fillings, and composite or white fillings. Composite fillings are tooth-colored to blend in with the remaining natural part of the tooth. Most dentists offer both types of fillings, but find that a lot of their patients like the composite fillings.

The term composite refers to the actual filling material which is a mix of glass or quartz filler in a resin medium.

Composite fillings supply excellent resilience and resistance to fracture in small-to-mid size restorations that need to endure moderate chewing pressure. Less tooth structure is eliminated when the dental practitioner prepares the tooth, and this may result in a smaller sized filling than with of an amalgam.

In addition, composites are "bonded", or adhesively connected, to the tooth, frequently enabling a more conservative repair for the tooth. Composite fillings require that the tooth be kept clean and dry during the entire filling procedure and they are subject to stain and staining in time. The life span of a white filling can depend considerably on where it is in your mouth and how heavily your teeth come together when you bite.

Composite filling material is also frequently used to repair front teeth that have actually chipped or worn. Where possible, esthetic bonding of composite material to front teeth is typically much cheaper than veneers or crowns. However, bonding generally does not last as long as veneers or crowns.
