CROWNS FOR TEETH

Updated On Saturday, February 23, 2019 02:45:36 AM

Thanks to innovative modern technologies, we are proud to introduce the ability to offer you with same day crowns - that's right, a brand-new crown in simply one appointment! Here's how it works.

First, high resolution digital 3-D impressions are taken with a small camera, a special camera built just for this purpose.

Then, the new software examines the entire image and uses the results to determine a variety of exceptional restoration possibilities. Next those possibilities are evaluated and fine-tuned by the dentist and the final restoration plan is selected.

Step three your brand-new crown is made by the cerec device right in our office and put in your mouth, all in one visit!

If you wish to know more about the same day crown treatment, call our office and we would be happy to help you.

Same Day Teeth Restorations

CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take accurate digital imagery of locations needing restoration and produce the appropriate restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in just one visit. We will create and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to fabricate your crown.

CEREC can be used in a full range of indications: inlays, onlays, partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns and veneers.

Today's Topic Is:

Ultra-Sonic Cleanings

We use ultrasonic scalers for a lot of adult dental cleanings. These devices use ultrasonic vibrations to help breakdown the plaque and calculus on the teeth that trigger gingivitis and periodontal disease. The ultrasonic cleaners produce tiny bubbles that implode on the surface of the tooth, killing microbes and eliminating plaque and tartar at the same time. Our instruments use a thin tip to better navigate in the periodontal pockets to help preserve optimal gingival health.

  • The treatment only uses water, no chemicals are used.

  • It can remove tartar buildup in hard-to-reach areas, with no damage to the tooth enamel.

  • Manual scaling often uses pressure for cleaning, while the vibration produced by the scaling tip of an ultrasonic scaler is hardly noticeable. This makes ultrasonic cleaning suitable to those with sensitive teeth.

  • The cleaning process is much faster than manual scaling making your visit more comfortable.

After your teeth have actually been cleaned with the ultrasonic cleaner, your teeth will be hand scaled to look for any residual deposits then polished.
