If you have a missing tooth or teeth, you know the humiliation and discomfort this can trigger. You have probably been investigating methods you can restore your smile and good bite. We think you will be extremely interested to know that at our practice, you have the ability to receive same day crowns! It is a comfortable one-day treatment!

Our entire dental practice is cutting edge, except for our client care and concern which is standard. We understand the discomfort missing teeth can cause patients, and because of that we are really delighted to be able to supply clients with same day crowns.

Dental crowns are used to enhance a tooth, and return it to its original function. Dental crowns are made to color-match the adjacent teeth, so they can not be discovered by others as being anything less than a permanent tooth. With a dental crown, you are able to eat anything you like, and your clear speech will never be interrupted. In fact, your dental crown is so natural feeling, you will not even know it is there in your mouth.

Same day crowns are a very exciting offering of our practice. We have the ability to supply you with a beautiful new smile in simply one day. Our office has cutting edge equipment that enables dentists to offer you with crowns in simply a small portion of the time that was required in the past.

CAD/CAM technology is exactly what makes this amazing development possible. The acronym means computer-aided design/computed-aided manufacturing. We are able to use this innovation in our system. This system is used to restore teeth, start to finish, in one day. This will save you from an extra visit to our practice, a week or so later. We're sure you have far more exciting things you would rather do with your time than to sit in our dental practitioner's chair any longer than you have to!

Using our brand-new system, we scan the prepared tooth in your mouth or from an impression, and then send the info to our in-office milling station. The restoration is computer-milled to the precise specifications to fit your mouth in minutes. Once the crown is crated, we place it in your mouth, and color, polish and restore your new tooth to a gorgeous and natural-looking appeal. This technology can also be used for same-day veneers or inlays.

If you need a crown in a hurry, for an upcoming social or company event, this procedure may undoubtedly be ideal for you. If you have an interest in finding out more about this process, contact us today for a visit.

Today We Will Be Discussing:

Composite Dental Bonding

Bonding is a procedure in which we use a tooth-colored composite material to a tooth, shape it, allow it to solidify, and polish it. It can be used in specific circumstances where a tooth has actually been broken or ended up being stained. These are generally minor repairs, ones that can be resolved through this fairly affordable means instead of through a more pricey dental procedure.

Here's How It Works:
Bonding includes adhering composite resin material that is matched to the color of the tooth, to the front of the tooth. This is done to fix damage done to the tooth by decay, to change the alignment of the tooth, close gaps between the teeth, or for cosmetic purposes. First the surface of the tooth is roughened in order to accept the bonding and hold it. A gel is applied to micro etch the tooth surface, and a primer/bond agent is used so the material sticks to the surface. Then the material itself is placed on the tooth and solidified with intense light. The composite resin material is shaped and polished to obtain a shiny finish as a last step.
