Same Day Crowns Restorations
CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take precise digital images of areas requiring restoration and produce the proper restoration on the spot.
With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in just one visit. We will develop and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to fabricate your crown.
CEREC can be utilized for a full range of indications: partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, and onlays.

TMJ (Temporal Mandibular Joint)
TMJ stands for temporal-mandibular joint. Temporal, as in temple area of skull; mandibular as in mandible, or lower jaw; joint as in it's where the head and jaw meet. Issues in this joint might be caused by a misalignment of the teeth, trauma, or excess muscle tension. Aside from the two bones that meet there, cartilage buffers them and five muscles are associated with the area. If something goes wrong a good deal of trouble can result.
Problems in this area can trigger:
- Pain in the jaw muscles.
- Trouble or soreness in opening and closing the mouth.
- Soreness in the area, in some cases extending to the face.
- Clicking or popping of the jaw.
Dental treatments for the condition can consist of replacing missing teeth, moving teeth, adjusting the bite, filling gaps between teeth, etc. There is no one solution that is right for all cases. Often a plastic mouthpiece is used to prevent clenching or grinding that is adding to the issue. If neglected and taken to extremes, surgery may be required to repair a severely damaged joint.
