Same day crowns
In the past, getting dental crowns implied coming into the dentist's office at least two times. The first check-up included getting an impression of your tooth and a short-term crown. Then, a couple of weeks later, a 2nd visit permitted the temporary crown to be removed and a new long-term crown to be positioned on your tooth. We use the latest technology making dental work more convenient for you and your busy schedule, with same day crowns.

Getting Dental Crowns
We are proud to use a state-of-the-art same day crown innovation to produce ceramic onlays and crowns that fit perfectly, in simply one check-up with a small camera to create a 3D image of the tooth that has to be repaired. This means a physical mold, which is unpleasant and time consuming, is no longer required.

Using CAD/CAM software, We produce a perfectly fitting restoration using an on-site milling machine. This technology can create the brand-new restoration in just 15 minutes.

The restoration is stuck to your tooth using a bonding material, and the brand-new addition will match your natural teeth so no one will ever know you had a repair.

Today's Discussion Has To Do With:

Porcelain Teeth Veneers

Veneers are a really thin pieces of long lasting, tooth shaped, porcelain that are custom made (for shape and color) by a professional dental lab. They are bonded onto the front of teeth to create a lovely and appealing smile.

Veneers can entirely reshape your teeth and smile. They can often be alternatives to crowns and the perfect option in treating lots of cosmetic dental conditions for the front teeth.

Just like many dental restorations, veneers may one day require replacement; however, they are still extremely long lasting and will last many years, providing you a long lasting, beautiful smile.

How Are Veneers Placed?

Veneers are a dental procedure where a covering is positioned over the outside (visible area) of the tooth. Veneers are normally only done to the part of the teeth that are seen when talking or smiling. The treatment can be direct or indirect.

The direct technique normally involves positioning composite resin on the outside of the tooth using bonding. This technique is usually referred to as bonding.

The indirect strategy generally involves 2 visits because the veneers will be produced at a dental laboratory. At the first visit the teeth are prepared, impressions taken, and the teeth are given a temporary covering. In two to three weeks the veneers are back from the laboratory, the temporaries are removed and the veneers are bonded to the teeth. The lab made veneers are typically made using porcelain or pressed ceramic, and are extremely esthetic.

The advantage of veneers versus crowns is that much less tooth material is eliminated, and the treatment is generally less uncomfortable. Veneers are not suggested for teeth that have big fillings or little tooth structure.

You will get care instructions for your veneers. Correct brushing, flossing and regular dental visits will help in the life of your new and beautiful veneers.
