Same Day Crown Restorations
CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take precise digital images of locations requiring restoration and produce the proper restoration on the spot.
With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in just one visit. We will design and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to fabricate your crown.
CEREC can be used in a broad scope of indications: posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, onlays and partial crowns.

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental issues.
Detecting issues with x-rays before they become problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the requirement for more extensive, expensive procedures or surgeries. X-rays are primarily used to find:
- Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).
- Impacted teeth.
- Teeth that are still coming in.
- Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.
- Internal tooth decay.
Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have multiple advantages over traditional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays allow us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from conventional dental x-rays. The concern of direct exposure to excess radiation is eliminated.
Big on-screen X-rays make patient communication more efficient. The immediate observation of the images on the screen enables us to discuss your dental health quickly and properly.
Digital radiography has greatly enhanced the practice of dentistry. It allows the client and the doctor to see pictures of the teeth in greater resolution on a large format for easier detection of problems, all while reducing the radiation exposure to the client. The procedure we use further defines the radiograph, leading to clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.
Images are available quickly after exposure, getting rid of the wait and effort spent establishing and mounting x-rays. If an image has to be retaken, it can be done right away. Digital format also enables us to send out and receive your images digitally for consultation that can be presented to you quickly.
