Same Day Crowns In Only One Visit

If you select same day crowns, your experience will be fairly different.
Instead of goopy impressions, our dental practitioner will use a thin layer of reflective powder to your tooth and will take photos of your tooth. Your new crown is then made right here at our office from a piece of ceramic. There is no metal in your crown.

While your crown is being made, you are free to wait and enjoy our dental spa. You might choose to have other dental work done throughout this time.

After your ceramic crown is made, it is bonded to your tooth using cutting-edge adhesive dentistry. Done and done!

You do not need multiple trips. Just one trip and you leave with your permanent crown! Now that ought to give you something to smile about!

If you have actually been considering a crown, talk with us about it today.

Today We Will Be Discussing:

Teeth Whitening

Because having whiter teeth has now become the number one aesthetic concern of a lot of patients, there are a number of ways to lighten teeth. The most popular method is using a home tooth lightening system that will bleach teeth dramatically. Because tooth whitening just works on natural tooth enamel, it is essential to evaluate replacement of any old fillings, crowns, etc. Replacement of any restorations will be done after bleaching so they will match the newly bleached teeth.

Most dentists use a number of techniques: customizeded tray bleaching, professional strength white strips, and in-office bleaching.

The tray approach involves having impressions taken, which the laboratory makes into custom-made vinyl trays. A carbamide peroxide gel is put in these trays and the trays with gel are worn for about 30 minutes to a full hour. The whole process takes about a week of daily use. 3 various strengths of gel might be used, however, the higher the strength, the higher the likelihood of reactions or tooth sensitivity. The tray approach is recommended for terribly stained teeth, such as tetracycline staining, and it may take numerous months of use to see considerable color improvement.

Our in-office treatment is a really fast and hassle-free lightening procedure. The visit is around one hour including both the preparation and treatment. Our clients love this treatment because it is so easy and fast!

Tooth whitening is not permanent. A touch-up might be required once a year and more often if you smoke and/or drink coffee, tea, or wine. For maintenance of whitened teeth the trays need to be used every few months.

Reasons For Tooth Whitening:

  • Yellow, brown stained teeth.

  • Normal wear of outer tooth layer.

  • Florousis (excessive fluoridation during tooth development).

  • Stained teeth due to medications (tetracycline, etc.).
