Same Day Teeth Restorations
CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take exact digital imagery of locations requiring restoration and produce the appropriate restoration on the spot.
With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in just one visit. We will develop and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to produce your crown.
CEREC can be used in a full range of indications: onlays, partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers and inlays.

Porcelain Veneers (Tooth)
Veneers are a really thin pieces of durable, tooth shaped, porcelain that are custom made (for shape and color) by a professional dental laboratory. They are bonded onto the front of teeth to create a lovely and appealing smile.
Veneers can entirely reshape your teeth and smile. They can commonly be alternatives to crowns and the perfect option in treating numerous cosmetic dental conditions for the front teeth.
As with many dental restorations, veneers may someday require replacement; however, they are still really durable and will last years, giving you a long lasting, lovely smile.
How Are Veneers Placed?
Veneers are a dental treatment in which a covering is put over the outside (visible area) of the tooth. Veneers are normally only done to the part of the teeth that are visible when talking or smiling. The procedure can be direct or indirect.
The direct method normally involves putting composite resin on the outside of the tooth using bonding. This technique is generally referred to as bonding.
The indirect technique usually involves 2 visits because the veneers will be produced at a dental lab. At the first visit the teeth are prepared, impressions taken, and the teeth are provided a temporary covering. In two to three weeks the veneers are back from the laboratory, the temporaries are removed and the veneers are bonded to the teeth. The lab made veneers are normally made using porcelain or pressed ceramic, and are really esthetic.
The benefit of veneers versus crowns is that much less tooth material is removed, and the treatment is typically less unpleasant. Veneers are not recommended for teeth that have huge fillings or little tooth structure.
You will receive care guidelines for your veneers. Proper brushing, flossing and routine dental visits will help in the life of your new and gorgeous veneers.
