If you have a fractured or broken tooth, are experiencing discomfort when chewing or exposed to hot or cold temperature levels, or want to eliminate unattractive metal crowns or fillings, then dental crowns might be an excellent choice for you. Dental Crowns cover the outter surface area of the affected tooth, adding sturdiness and stability to it.

Same-day dental crowns are an option that we offer on a case by case basis to patients who would gain from the treatment. They allow clients to come to our office and leave within a couple hours with their final dental crown in place that same day. This removes the need to have a temporary crown placed and then another appointment arranged for the placement of the permanent crown.

Our Same-Day Crowns are made with our brand-new technology that scans the mouth to get the proper measurements of your tooth and surrounding teeth, and then makes your crown right there in the office. These restorations are very strong and durable and constructed out of the highest quality porcelain available. In some cases, a gold crown might be recommended for your posterior teeth (back teeth) if you grind or clinch your teeth a lot.

Gold crowns are different from porcelain crowns, and the cost may vary between the two and you may want to talk about your budget plan too with the your dentist. Your dentist will discuss with you the kinds of crowns available and offer you a suggestion based upon your particular scenario.

Call us to schedule a complimentary cosmetic consultation. We look forward to meeting you.

Today Were Discussing:

Teeth Whitening

Because having whiter teeth has now become the primary aesthetic concern of many clients, there are multiple methods to bleach teeth. The most popular technique is utilizing a home tooth bleaching system that will whiten teeth dramatically. Because tooth lightening just works on natural tooth enamel, it is necessary to evaluate replacement of any old fillings, crowns, etc. Replacement of any restorations will be done after whitening so they will match the freshly bleached teeth.

Most dentists utilize a number of techniques: custom made tray bleaching, professional strength white strips, and in-office lightening.

The tray technique involves having impressions taken, which the lab produces into customized vinyl trays. A carbamide peroxide gel is put in these trays and the trays with gel are worn for about 30 minutes to a full hour. The whole procedure takes about a week of daily use. Three different strengths of gel may be used, however, the higher the strength, the greater the likelihood of reactions or tooth sensitivity. The tray method is recommended for severely stained teeth, such as tetracycline staining, and it might take numerous months of use to see substantial color improvement.

Our in-office treatment is a extremely quick and practical whitening procedure. The visit is around one hour consisting of both the preparation and treatment. Our patients enjoy this treatment because it is so easy and quick!

Tooth bleaching is not permanent. A touch-up may be required once a year and more often if you smoke and/or drink coffee, tea, or wine. For maintenance of whitened teeth the trays ought to be utilized every couple of months.

Reasons For Tooth Whitening:

  • Yellow, brown stained teeth.

  • Normal wear of external tooth layer.

  • Florousis (excessive fluoridation throughout tooth development).

  • Stained teeth due to medications (tetracycline, and so on).
