If you have a missing tooth or teeth, you know the embarrassment and pain this can trigger. You have most likely been examining ways you can restore your smile and excellent bite. We believe you will be extremely interested to know that at our practice, you have the ability to receive same day crowns! It is a comfy one-day treatment!

Our whole dental practice is advanced, except for our patient care and issue which is standard. We understand the pain missing teeth can cause patients, and for that reason we are really delighted to be able to offer patients with same day crowns.

Dental crowns are used to strengthen a tooth, and return it to its initial function. Dental crowns are made to color-match the nearby teeth, so they can not be discovered by others as being anything less than a permanent tooth. With a dental crown, you are able to eat anything you like, and your clear speech will never ever be interfered with. In fact, your dental crown is so natural feeling, you will not even know it exists in your mouth.

Same day crowns are a really exciting offering of our practice. We are able to offer you with a beautiful brand-new smile in simply one day. Our office has state-of-the-art devices that permits dentists to provide you with crowns in just a small portion of the time that was required previously.

CAD/CAM technology is exactly what makes this amazing advancement possible. The acronym represents computer-aided design/computed-aided manufacturing. We have the ability to use this innovation in our system. This system is used to restore teeth, start to finish, in one day. This will save you from an additional visit to our practice, a week or so later. We're sure you have much more exciting things you would rather do with your time than to sit in our dental practitioner's chair any longer than you have to!

Using our new system, we scan the prepared tooth in your mouth or from an impression, and after that send out the information to our in-office milling station. The restoration is computer-milled to the exact specifications to fit your mouth in minutes. Once the crown is crated, we put it in your mouth, and color, polish and restore your brand-new tooth to a gorgeous and natural-looking radiance. This technology can also be used for same-day veneers or inlays.

If you need a crown in a hurry, for an upcoming social or company occasion, this procedure may indeed be ideal for you. If you are interested in finding out more about this process, contact us today for a consultation.

Today's Subject Will Be:

Tooth Whitening

Because having whiter teeth has now become the top aesthetic concern of a lot of patients, there are a number of methods to bleach teeth. The most popular technique is using a home tooth whitening system that will lighten teeth dramatically. Since tooth lightening just works on natural tooth enamel, it is important to evaluate replacement of any old fillings, crowns, and so on. Replacement of any restorations will be done after whitening so they will match the newly bleached teeth.

Most dentists utilize numerous approaches: custom made tray lightening, professional strength white strips, and in-office lightening.

The tray method involves having impressions taken, which the lab fabricates into custom-made vinyl trays. A carbamide peroxide gel is put in these trays and the trays with gel are worn for about 30 minutes to a full hour. The whole procedure takes about a week of day-to-day use. Three various strengths of gel might be utilized, however, the greater the strength, the higher the likelihood of reactions or tooth sensitivity. The tray method is suggested for badly stained teeth, such as tetracycline staining, and it may take multiple months of use to see significant color improvement.

Our in-office treatment is a very quick and convenient lightening procedure. The visit is roughly one hour including both the preparation and treatment. Our clients love this treatment because it is so easy and fast!

Tooth lightening is not permanent. A touch-up might be required once a year and more often if you smoke and/or drink coffee, tea, or wine. For upkeep of whitened teeth the trays must be utilized every few months.

Reasons For Tooth Whitening:

  • Yellow, brown stained teeth.

  • Normal wear of outer tooth layer.

  • Florousis (extreme fluoridation throughout tooth development).

  • Stained teeth due to medications (tetracycline, etc.).
