Same day crowns
In the past, getting dental crowns meant coming into the dental practitioner's office a minimum of 2 times. The very first check-up involved getting an impression of your tooth and a short-term crown. Then, a couple of weeks later, a second visit allowed for the temporary crown to be eliminated and a new long-term crown to be positioned on your tooth. We use the latest innovation making dental work more convenient for you and your busy schedule, with same day crowns.

Getting Dental Crowns
We are proud to use a state-of-the-art same day crown technology to develop ceramic onlays and crowns that fit just right, in just one visit with a small camera to create a 3D picture of the tooth that needs to be repaired. This indicates a physical mold, which is unpleasant and time consuming, is no longer necessary.

Using CAD/CAM software, We develop a perfectly fitting restoration using an on-site milling machine. This innovation can create the brand-new restoration in as little as 15 minutes.

The restoration is connected to your tooth using a bonding material, and the brand-new addition will match your natural teeth so nobody will ever know you had a repair.

Call us today for more information about same day crowns innovation, and take care of those issues you might have been putting off.

Today's Discussion Has To Do With:

Dental Bonding (Composite)

Bonding is a procedure in which we apply a tooth-colored composite material to a tooth, shape it, allow it to harden, and polish it. It can be used in certain situations where a tooth has actually been broken or ended up being stained. These are normally small repairs, ones that can be resolved through this relatively affordable means instead of through a more expensive dental procedure.

How It Works:
Bonding involves adhering composite resin material that is matched to the color of the tooth, to the front of the tooth. This is done to repair damage done to the tooth by decay, to change the alignment of the tooth, close gaps between the teeth, or for cosmetic purposes. First the surface area of the tooth is roughed up in order to accept the bonding and hold it. A gel is applied to micro etch the tooth surface, and a primer/bond agent is applied so the material adheres to the surface area. Then the material itself is positioned on the tooth and solidified with intense light. The composite resin material is formed and polished to get a glossy finish as a last step.
