DENTAL IMPLANTS ONE DAY COST

If you have a fractured or broken tooth, are experiencing pain when chewing or exposed to hot or cold temperature levels, or want to remove unattractive metal crowns or fillings, then dental crowns might be a great alternative for you. Dental Crowns cover the visible surface of the affected tooth, adding durability and stability to it.

Same-day dental crowns are an option that we offer on a case by case basis to clients who would gain from the procedure. They allow patients to come to our office and leave within a couple hours with their final dental crown in place that same day. This removes the need to have a short-term crown placed and then another check-up set up for the placement of the final crown.

Our Same-Day Crowns are made with our new technology that scans the mouth to obtain the appropriate measurements of your tooth and surrounding teeth, and then makes your crown right there in the office. These restorations are extremely strong and durable and made out of the highest quality porcelain available. In some cases, a gold crown might be suggested for your posterior teeth (back teeth) if you grind or clinch your teeth a lot.

Gold crowns are different from porcelain crowns, and the expense may vary between the two and you may want to discuss your budget plan as well with the your dentist. Your dentist will go over with you the types of crowns available and offer you a recommendation based on your specific circumstance.

Call us to set up a complimentary cosmetic consultation. We look forward to meeting you.

Today's Conversation Will Be About:

Temporal Mandibular Joint

TMJ stands for temporal-mandibular joint. Temporal, as in temple area of skull; mandibular as in mandible, or lower jaw; joint as in it's where the head and jaw meet. Problems in this joint may be triggered by a misalignment of the teeth, trauma, or excess muscle stress. Aside from the two bones that meet there, cartilage buffers them and 5 muscles are involved in the area. If something goes wrong a good deal of trouble can result.

Problems in this area can trigger:

  • Earaches.

  • Headaches.

  • Pain in the jaw muscles.

  • Soreness in opening and closing the mouth.

  • Soreness in the area, often extending to the face.

  • Clicking or popping of the jaw.

Dental treatments for the condition can consist of replacing missing teeth, moving teeth, adjusting the bite, filling gaps between teeth, and so on. There is no one solution that is right for all cases. Sometimes a plastic mouthpiece is utilized to prevent clenching or grinding that is contributing to the problem. If neglected and taken to extremes, surgery might be needed to repair a terribly damaged joint.
