Same Day Teeth Restorations
CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take precise digital imagery of locations needing restoration and produce the suitable restoration on the spot.
With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in simply one visit. We will develop and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to fabricate your crown.
CEREC can be used for a wide range of indications: onlays, partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers and inlays.

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental issues.
Identifying problems with x-rays before they end up being problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the need for more extensive, costly procedures or surgeries. X-rays are mostly used to spot:
- Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).
- Impacted teeth.
- Teeth that are still coming in.
- Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.
- Internal tooth decay.
Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have a number of advantages over conventional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays enable us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from traditional dental x-rays. The concern of exposure to excess radiation is eliminated.
Big on-screen X-rays make patient communication more effective. The immediate observation of the images on the screen enables us to discuss your dental health quickly and precisely.
Digital radiography has greatly enhanced the practice of dentistry. It allows the client and the physician to see pictures of the teeth in greater resolution on a big format for easier detection of problems, all while decreasing the radiation direct exposure to the client. The process we use further defines the radiograph, resulting in clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.
Images are available immediately after exposure, removing the wait and effort spent developing and mounting x-rays. If an image needs to be retaken, it can be done instantly. Digital format also enables us to send out and get your images electronically for consultation that can be provided to you rapidly.
