Same Day Crowns At Your Local Family Dentist

Same Day Crowns technology has changed how dental treatments will be done forever. If crowns, onlays, inlays or dental veneers were required to restore damaged teeth, it used to indicate numerous appointments, a lot of inconvenience, and frequently a great deal of money.

This brand-new innovation makes these ceramic restorations within minutes in the dental office. It is built of a number of computer-assisted design (CAD) tools and a milling device that develops custom-made ceramic restorative devices. It also can make nearly any ceramic restoration to order, indicating the dentist can position it immediately. This is of excellent advantage to a worried client, and it can also reduce the cost of treatment.

Same Day Tooth Restorations

CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take exact digital imagery of areas needing restoration and produce the suitable restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in simply one visit. We will develop and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to fabricate your crown.

CEREC can be utilized for a wide scope of indications: anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, onlays, partial crowns and posterior crowns.

Today Were Talking About:

Composite Dental Bonding

Bonding is a procedure in which we apply a tooth-colored composite material to a tooth, shape it, allow it to harden, and polish it. It can be used in certain circumstances where a tooth has been damaged or ended up being stained. These are normally small repairs, ones that can be resolved through this relatively inexpensive means instead of through a more expensive dental procedure.

Here's How It Works:
Bonding involves adhering composite resin material that is matched to the color of the tooth, to the front of the tooth. This is done to repair damage done to the tooth by decay, to alter the alignment of the tooth, close gaps between the teeth, or for cosmetic purposes. First the surface area of the tooth is roughened in order to accept the bonding and hold it. A gel is applied to micro etch the tooth surface, and a primer/bond agent is used so the material adheres to the surface area. Then the material itself is positioned on the tooth and solidified with intense light. The composite resin material is formed and polished to get a lustrous finish as a last step.
