Thanks to innovative modern innovations, we are proud to present the ability to offer you with same day crowns - that's right, a brand-new crown in just one appointment! Here's how it works.

Step One, high resolution digital 3-D impressions are taken with a small camera, a unique camera established just for this function.

Second, the brand-new software examines the whole image and uses the results to compute a number of outstanding restoration possibilities. Next those possibilities are analyzed and fine-tuned by the dentist and the last restoration plan is chosen.

Step 3 your new crown is milled by the cerec device right in our office and put in your mouth, all in one appointment!

If you want to understand more about the same day crown procedure, call our office and we would be more than happy to help you.

Same Day Tooth Restorations

CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take exact digital imagery of areas requiring restoration and produce the proper restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in simply one visit. We will create and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to make your crown.

CEREC can be used in a full scope of indications: onlays, partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers and inlays.

Today We Will Be Going Over:

Dental Dentures

There are various kinds of dentures, but they share their common function. They replace teeth that have actually become loose or been lost due to bone loss. When bone loss around the roots of teeth is great enough to let them fall out or loosen them, it's time for dentures. Relax. Nobody enjoys losing their natural teeth, but you can still eat and talk regularly.

The entire mouth is examined and a decision is made as to which teeth will need to be removed, and which will remain. The loose teeth are then removed. Dentures are fitted to go around or over whatever teeth remain in the mouth, depending on the type. There is an adjustment period after dentures are positioned in the mouth, and it can take some getting used to. Once accustomed to the dentures, all the regular performance and look return and one just continues as usual. Often implants can be utilized to further stabilize the dentures.

It is essential to keep in mind that life with an upper denture, a lower denture, and especially both, is a major lifestyle change when compared with natural teeth. Dentures affect the type of food you are able to eat, your confidence in social scenarios, as well as your self-esteem.

A Couple Reasons For Considering A Full Denture:

  • All Teeth missing in the same arch

  • Restore chewing capability

  • Restore a natural looking smile

  • Economical alternative to other treatments

An upper complete denture will often feel much better than a lower full denture. In order to drastically enhance the fit of a lower full denture, we frequently suggest utilizing dental implants as a retentive mechanism. 2 dental implants placed in the lower jaw can help anchor the denture and considerably enhance comfort. In some cases, the implants can even be put in the jaw after a denture has actually been in use for multiple years.
