DENTAL IMPLANTS IN ONE VISIT

At our dental practice we do same day crowns. You may ask, exactly what are same day crowns and exactly what can it provide for me?

It is a 3D system that lets us make porcelain crowns and inlays all in one appointment. We have actually now been using this innovation for multiple years and love it more than ever.

Same day crowns are an in-surgery computer system that allows us to fix broken or missing tooth structures with a ceramic product that's as close to a natural tooth as is possible.

This is done while you are in the practice, in just one appointment. All ceramic porcelain inlays and onlays, veneers and crowns that look and feel like natural teeth can be made and fitted in a single appointment, normally in about an hour.

So what is the procedure?

We scan the opposite teeth and the method the teeth bite together first. We remove the old filling, and decay and any thin weak tooth product and scan the prepared tooth.

After this we quit working in the mouth and begin working with the computer.

Everybody enjoys seeing the pictures of their teeth and the designing of their new tooth. We make 3D design and this information is sent out to the milling device.

Everybody asks if this is like 3D printing and yes it is, but the tooth isn't built up layer by layer, it is cut back from a block in the machine, which is much stronger.

The block is then exactly carved to produce your brand-new restoration, which is fantastic.

At last, the customized crown restoration bonded perfectly into the tooth, strengthening and sealing it at the same time and after that we tidy up!

We need to make certain that you can bite correctly, that its smooth and that you can floss.

Same Day Crowns Restorations

Today's Subject Is:

Dental Bonding (Composite)

Bonding is a procedure where we apply a tooth-colored composite product to a tooth, shape it, allow it to harden, and polish it. It can be used in certain circumstances where a tooth has been damaged or ended up being stained. These are normally small repairs, ones that can be resolved through this fairly affordable ways rather than through a more expensive dental procedure.

How It Works:
Bonding includes adhering composite resin material that is matched to the color of the tooth, to the front of the tooth. This is done to repair damage done to the tooth by decay, to modify the alignment of the tooth, close gaps between the teeth, or for cosmetic purposes. First the surface of the tooth is roughed up in order to accept the bonding and hold it. A gel is applied to micro etch the tooth surface area, and a primer/bond agent is applied so the material sticks to the surface. Then the material itself is positioned on the tooth and solidified with intense light. The composite resin material is formed and polished to obtain a glossy finish as a last step.
