Below are a few of the advantages of same day crown innovation, which crafts excellent same day dental crowns and same day inlays and onlays.

Without a doubt the greatest advantage of same day crown dental restoration technology is the time you'll save. Typically, getting a dental restoration will involve two different appointments to your dentist's office that are weeks apart. Multiple appointments} are required due to the fact that the final dental restoration has to be crafted at an off-site dental lab. With same day crown innovation, dental restorations are crafted in-office. There's no have to get multiple days off work or rearrange your schedule. One visit is all you'll need.

They Are Customized For Your Mouth

The same day crown device uses the current technology to develop a digital impression of your teeth. Using this 3 dimensional digital model, this device then designs a customized restoration that fits flawlessly with the damaged tooth and your adjacent teeth.

Same Day Crown Dental Restorations Are Resilient

Although same day crown restorations are crafted and created on-site, the restorations themselves are exceptionally long lasting. In fact, the restorations that are crafted by these machines are approximately three times as strong as the dental restorations that are crafted at a dental laboratory.

Same Day Crowns Look Natural

In addition to their strength and toughness, same day crown dental restorations blend in seamlessly with your smile. The inlays and onlays from the same day crown machine have a sort of chameleon result. When in place, they take on the color and distinct shadings of the fixed tooth, meaning that your smile will look terrific and, more significantly, look natural.

Same Day Crown Restorations

CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take accurate digital images of areas requiring restoration and produce the proper restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in just one visit. We will create and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to make your crown.

Today's Topic Will Be:

Composite Dental Bonding

Bonding is a treatment where we apply a tooth-colored composite material to a tooth, shape it, allow it to harden, and polish it. It can be used in specific circumstances where a tooth has been damaged or ended up being stained. These are generally minor repairs, ones that can be resolved through this fairly affordable methods rather than through a more costly dental procedure.

Here's How It Works:
Bonding includes adhering composite resin material that is matched to the color of the tooth, to the front of the tooth. This is done to fix damage done to the tooth by decay, to change the alignment of the tooth, close gaps in between the teeth, or for cosmetic purposes. First the surface of the tooth is roughed up in order to accept the bonding and hold it. A gel is applied to micro etch the tooth surface, and a primer/bond agent is used so the material adheres to the surface. Then the material itself is put on the tooth and solidified with intense light. The composite resin material is formed and polished to obtain a shiny finish as a last step.
