Below are some of the benefits of same day crown technology, which crafts excellent same day dental crowns and same day inlays and onlays.

By far the greatest benefit of same day crown dental restoration technology is the time you'll conserve. Traditionally, getting a dental restoration will include 2 different visits to your dentist's office that are weeks apart. Numerous appointments} are required because the last dental restoration needs to be crafted at an off-site dental lab. With same day crown technology, dental restorations are crafted in-office. There's no have to get numerous days off work or reorganize your schedule. One visit is all you'll need.

They Are Customized For Your Mouth

The same day crown device uses the latest technology to create a digital impression of your teeth. Using this three dimensional digital design, this machine then designs a custom-made restoration that fits flawlessly with the broken tooth and your surrounding teeth.

Same Day Crowns Are Strong

Even though same day crown restorations are crafted and developed on-site, the restorations themselves are exceptionally resilient. In fact, the restorations that are crafted by these devices are approximately 3 times as strong as the dental restorations that are crafted at a dental lab.

Same Day Crowns Look Real

In addition to their strength and durability, same day crown dental restorations blend in seamlessly with your smile. The inlays and onlays from the same day crown machine have a sort of chameleon result. When in place, they take on the color and distinct shadings of the restored tooth, meaning that your smile will look excellent and, more significantly, look natural.

Same Day Crowns Restorations

CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take exact digital images of locations requiring restoration and produce the appropriate restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in simply one visit. We will create and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to make your crown.

CEREC can be utilized for a broad range of indications: posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, onlays and partial crowns.

Today's Conversation Has To Do With:

Root Canal

Root canal treatment (also described as root canal therapy or endodontic therapy) is essential when a cavity is allowed, through neglect, to reach all the way to the root pulp. (Regular cleanings and checkups prevent and discover problems early). Sometimes deep restorations or trauma to a tooth may also cause the nerve to be damaged to the point it needs root canal treatment. Once this happens, the pulp ends up being infected, and can even extend through the root tip and start to eat away at the surrounding bone (this is an abscess).

By the time the pulp is infected it has to be treated, and can not heal on its own. It can even deteriorate the whole immune system. This is dangerous, and may be very agonizing. Signs that the pulp has become infected may consist of sensitivity to hot/cold or sweets, discomfort, swelling, pain to biting or pressure, and a bad taste in the mouth. In some cases, however, no symptoms appear and the individual is unaware of any problem until a checkup.

A root canal is then performed to clear out the infected tooth pulp, and sanitize the canals of the tooth. The only other treatment would be to extract the tooth. Once the infection is fixed, the canal(s) are filled in to prevent any more infection. Generally a core build-up and crown is recommended for restoring a tooth that has had root canal treatment.
