Same day crowns
In the past, getting dental crowns implied coming into the dental practitioner's office at least 2 times. The very first check-up included getting an impression of your tooth and a short-term crown. Then, a couple of weeks later, a 2nd visit enabled the temporary crown to be removed and a new permanent crown to be positioned on your tooth. We use the latest technology to make dental work easier for you and your day to day schedule, with same day crowns.

Getting Dental Crowns
We are proud to use a state-of-the-art same day crown technology to produce ceramic onlays and crowns that fit just right, in just one visit with a little camera to create a 3D image of the tooth that needs to be fixed. This means a physical mold, which is unpleasant and time consuming, is no longer required.

Using CAD/CAM software, We develop a perfectly fitting restoration using an on-site milling machine. This technology can develop the brand-new restoration in just 15 minutes.

The restoration is connected to your tooth using a bonding product, and the brand-new addition will match your natural teeth so nobody will ever know you had a repair.

Call us today for additional information about same day crowns innovation, and take care of those issues you may have been putting off.

Same Day Crown Restorations

CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take precise digital images of locations needing restoration and produce the appropriate restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in just one visit. We will create and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to produce your crown.

Today's Discussion Is About:

Dental Dentures

There are different types of dentures, but they share their common function. They replace teeth that have become loose or been lost due to bone loss. When bone loss around the roots of teeth is big enough to let them fall out or loosen them, it's time for dentures. Relax. Nobody enjoys losing their natural teeth, however you can still eat and talk regularly.

The entire mouth is examined and a determination is made about which teeth will have to be removed, and which will remain. The loose teeth are then extracted. Dentures are fitted to go around or over whatever teeth remain in the mouth, depending on the type. There is an adjustment time after dentures are put in the mouth, and it can take some getting used to. Once accustomed to the dentures, all the regular functionality and appearance return and one just carries on as usual. Typically implants can be used to further stabilize the dentures.

It is important to keep in mind that life with an upper denture, a lower denture, and especially both, is a major lifestyle change when compared to natural teeth. Dentures impact the kind of food you have the ability to eat, your self-confidence in social situations, as well as your self-esteem.

A Couple Reasons For Getting A Full Denture:

  • All Teeth missing in the exact same arch

  • Restore chewing ability

  • Restore a natural looking smile

  • Economical alternative to other procedures

An upper complete denture will often feel better than a lower complete denture. In order to drastically enhance the fit of a lower complete denture, we regularly recommend utilizing dental implants as a retentive mechanism. Two dental implants put in the lower jaw can help anchor the denture and considerably improve comfort. In some cases, the implants can even be positioned in the jaw after a denture has actually been in use for numerous years.
