Same day crowns
In the past, getting dental crowns implied coming into the dental practitioner's office a minimum of 2 times. The very first visit involved getting an impression of your tooth and a short-term crown. Then, a few weeks later, a 2nd check-up enabled the temporary crown to be eliminated and a new long-term crown to be placed on your tooth. We use the latest innovation making dental work more convenient for you and your day to day schedule, with same day crowns.

Getting Dental Crowns
We are proud to use a state-of-the-art same day crown technology to create ceramic onlays and crowns that fit just right, in just one check-up with a little camera to create a 3D image of the tooth that needs to be fixed. This means a physical mold, which is unpleasant and time consuming, is no longer required.

Using CAD/CAM software, We create a perfectly fitting restoration using an on-site milling device. This technology can develop the brand-new restoration in just 15 minutes.

The restoration is connected to your tooth using a bonding material, and the brand-new addition will match your natural teeth so nobody will ever know you had a repair.

Call us today for additional information about same day crowns technology, and take care of those issues you might have been avoiding.

The Conversation For Today Will Be:

Tooth Veneers (Porcelain)

Veneers are a very thin pieces of durable, tooth shaped, porcelain that are customizeded (for shape and color) by a professional dental laboratory. They are bonded onto the front of teeth to produce a stunning and appealing smile.

Veneers can completely improve your teeth and smile. They can often be alternatives to crowns and the perfect solution in treating many cosmetic dental conditions for the front teeth.

Similar to many dental restorations, veneers might someday require replacement; however, they are still extremely resilient and will last years, providing you a long lasting, stunning smile.

How Are Veneers Set?

Veneers are a dental procedure where a covering is put over the outside (visible area) of the tooth. Veneers are generally only done to the part of the teeth that are visible when talking or grinning. The procedure can be direct or indirect.

The direct strategy normally involves putting composite resin on the outside of the tooth using bonding. This technique is typically referred to as bonding.

The indirect strategy usually involves 2 appointments because the veneers will be fabricated at a dental laboratory. At the first visit the teeth are prepared, impressions taken, and the teeth are given a temporary covering. In 2 to 3 weeks the veneers are back from the lab, the temporaries are removed and the veneers are bonded to the teeth. The lab produced veneers are usually made using porcelain or pressed ceramic, and are very esthetic.

The benefit of veneers versus crowns is that much less tooth material is removed, and the treatment is normally less unpleasant. Veneers are not advised for teeth that have large fillings or little tooth structure.

You will get care guidelines for your veneers. Correct brushing, flossing and routine dental visits will aid in the life of your brand-new and gorgeous veneers.
