DENTAL WORK DONE IN ONE DAY

Why Are These Crowns Called Same Day Crowns?

This state-of-the-art innovation enables your dental practitioner to take accurate images of your tooth and use those images to design, manufacture, and put a porcelain or zirconia crown in a single visit. Same day crowns offer unparalleled benefits, value, and accuracy to our patients.

How Does The Same Day Crown Technology Work?

The same day crown procedure consists of 3 fundamental steps. First, your dental practitioner uses 3D imaging to take extremely precise images of your tooth and the surrounding structures. Second, they then download these images into a computer and, using computer-assisted design software, develops your custom-fitted crown. Third, your dental practitioner will send out the design to their in-office accuracy milling machine which produces the crown out of a block of dental porcelain or zirconia. Once they stain and glaze the crown for extra strength and esthetics, your dental practitioner will place it on your tooth.

Exactly What Are The Benefits Of Same Day Crowns?

We just use dental porcelain and zirconia to develop our same day crowns. These metal-free restorations provide incomparable toughness, durability, chip and stain resistance, and natural appeal.

Precision-fitted same day crowns need less tooth prep work and preserve more of your tooth structure.

Traditional crowns need 2 office visits. With same day crowns, you can come into our dentist's office for an appointment and leave with a beautifully restored tooth.

You can avoid the trouble and potential threats connected with uncomfortable temporary crowns.

Same Day Crowns Restorations

CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take exact digital imagery of locations needing restoration and produce the suitable restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in just one visit. We will create and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to produce your crown.

Today's Discussion Is About:

UltraSonic Tooth Cleaning

We use ultrasonic scalers for the majority of adult dental cleanings. These devices utilize ultrasonic vibrations to help breakdown the plaque and calculus on the teeth that cause gingivitis and gum disease. The ultrasonic cleaners create tiny bubbles that implode on the surface of the tooth, eliminating microorganisms and eliminating plaque and tartar at the same time. Our instruments use a thin tip to better navigate in the periodontal pockets to help preserve optimal gingival health.

  • The procedure only uses water, no chemicals are used.

  • It can eliminate tartar buildup in hard-to-reach locations, with no damage to the tooth enamel.

  • Manual scaling often uses pressure for cleaning, while the vibration produced by the scaling tip of an ultrasonic scaler is hardly noticeable. This makes ultrasonic cleaning suitable to those with vulnerable teeth.

  • The cleaning process is much faster than manual scaling making your visit more comfy.

After your teeth have actually been cleaned with the ultrasonic cleaner, your teeth will be hand scaled to look for any residual deposits then polished.
