Temporary crowns and second visits for crowns are now typically unnecessary thanks to the same day crown technology. We offer this exciting one-visit crown technology in our office, adding higher convenience to the procedure of getting a crown. The waiting time in between your treatment and when you get your permanent crown is eliminated.

The same day crown innovation is an instrument that allows ceramic restorations (veneers, inlays, onlays, and crowns) to be carried out in one visit instead of two. The computer coordinates with a wireless digital camera permitting the dentist to make digital impressions without the discomfort of bulky impression material.

After taking the picture the computer takes over and mills your custom crown right away so that we can cement your new crown that very same day. The outcomes we see are remarkable. With the same day crowns, the fit, strength, and aesthetics of the ceramic restorations are excellent.

Same Day Crowns Restorations

CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take accurate digital imagery of locations requiring restoration and produce the suitable restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in just one visit. We will design and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to make your crown.

CEREC can be utilized for a wide scope of indications: anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, onlays, partial crowns and posterior crowns.

Today's Conversation Is About:

Dental Dentures

There are different kinds of dentures, however they share their common function. They replace teeth that have actually become loose or been lost due to bone loss. When bone loss around the roots of teeth is great enough to let them fall out or loosen them, it's time for dentures. Relax. No one enjoys losing their natural teeth, but you can still eat and talk regularly.

The whole mouth is examined and a determination is made as to which teeth will need to be removed, and which will stay. The loose teeth are then extracted. Dentures are fitted to go around or over whatever teeth remain in the mouth, depending upon the type. There is an adjustment period after dentures are put in the mouth, and it can take some getting used to. But once accustomed to the dentures, all the regular performance and appearance return and one simply carries on as usual. Often implants can be used to further stabilize the dentures.

It is essential to note that life with an upper denture, a lower denture, and especially both, is a major lifestyle change when compared with natural teeth. Dentures affect the type of food you are able to eat, your self-esteem in social circumstances, and even your self-confidence.

A Couple Reasons For Getting A Full Denture:

  • All Teeth missing in the same arch

  • Restore chewing capability

  • Restore a natural looking smile

  • Economical alternative to other treatments

An upper complete denture will usually feel much better than a lower complete denture. In order to drastically enhance the fit of a lower complete denture, we often recommend using dental implants as a retentive mechanism. Two dental implants put in the lower jaw can help anchor the denture and substantially enhance comfort. Often, the implants can even be put in the jaw after a denture has been in use for multiple years.
