Same Day Crowns Restorations
CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take precise digital imagery of locations requiring restoration and produce the proper restoration on the spot.
With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in simply one visit. We will create and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to make your crown.
CEREC can be used for a full scope of indications: veneers, inlays, onlays, partial crowns, posterior crowns and anterior crowns.

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental problems.
Identifying issues with x-rays before they end up being problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the requirement for more extensive, costly procedures or surgeries. X-rays are primarily utilized to identify:
- Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).
- Impacted teeth.
- Teeth that are still coming in.
- Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.
- Internal tooth decay.
Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have multiple advantages over traditional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays allow us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from conventional dental x-rays. The worry of exposure to excess radiation is removed.
Big on-screen X-rays make patient communication more efficient. The instant observation of the images on the screen enables us to discuss your dental health quickly and properly.
Digital radiography has greatly enhanced the practice of dentistry. It allows the client and the doctor to see pictures of the teeth in greater resolution on a huge format for easier detection of problems, all while decreasing the radiation direct exposure to the client. The procedure we use further defines the radiograph, resulting in clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.
Images are available immediately after exposure, removing the wait and effort spent developing and installing x-rays. If an image has to be retaken, it can be done instantly. Digital format also allows us to send out and get your images digitally for consultation that can be presented to you rapidly.
