Same day crowns
In the past, getting dental crowns implied coming into the dentist's office a minimum of two times. The very first visit included getting an impression of your tooth and a short-term crown. Then, a couple of weeks later, a 2nd visit allowed for the temporary crown to be eliminated and a new long-term crown to be positioned on your tooth. We use the latest innovation to make dental work easier for you and your day to day schedule, with same day crowns.

Getting Dental Crowns
We are proud to use a cutting edge same day crown innovation to create ceramic onlays and crowns that fit perfectly, in just one check-up with a small camera to produce a 3D image of the tooth that has to be repaired. This indicates a physical mold, which is undesirable and time consuming, is no longer necessary.

Using CAD/CAM software, We create a perfectly fitting restoration using an on-site milling machine. This innovation can produce the brand-new restoration in just 15 minutes.

The restoration is stuck to your tooth using a bonding material, and the brand-new addition will match your natural teeth so no one will ever know you had a repair.

Call us today for more details about same day crowns innovation, and take care of those issues you may have been putting off.

Today's Topic Is About:

Tooth Whitening

Because having whiter teeth has now become the primary aesthetic concern of many patients, there are multiple ways to whiten teeth. The most popular technique is utilizing a home tooth bleaching system that will bleach teeth considerably. Since tooth lightening only works on natural tooth enamel, it is essential to evaluate replacement of any old fillings, crowns, and so on. Replacement of any restorations will be done after bleaching so they will match the newly bleached teeth.

Most dentists use multiple techniques: custom made tray lightening, professional strength white strips, and in-office whitening.

The tray technique involves having impressions taken, which the lab makes into custom-made vinyl trays. A carbamide peroxide gel is put in these trays and the trays with gel are worn for about 30 minutes to a full hour. The whole process takes about a week of day-to-day use. 3 different strengths of gel might be utilized, however, the higher the strength, the higher the possibility of reactions or tooth sensitivity. The tray technique is suggested for severely stained teeth, such as tetracycline staining, and it may take multiple months of use to see significant color improvement.

Our in-office treatment is a really fast and convenient lightening procedure. The visit is approximately one hour consisting of both the preparation and treatment. Our clients like this treatment due to the fact that it is so simple and quick!

Tooth lightening is not permanent. A touch-up might be needed once a year and more often if you smoke and/or drink coffee, tea, or wine. For maintenance of whitened teeth the trays need to be used every few months.

Reasons For Tooth Whitening:

  • Yellow, brown stained teeth.

  • Normal wear of outer tooth layer.

  • Florousis (extreme fluoridation during tooth development).

  • Stained teeth due to medications (tetracycline, etc.).
