Why Choose One Day Dental Crowns?

There are numerous advantages of single day crowns over standard crown technology.

  • Time: Same day crowns are made in one appointment, conserving you considerable time away from your job and family.

  • Comfort: With same day crowns, there is no requirement for a temporary crown, which removes significant possible discomfort and inconvenience of a lost temporary restoration. Only one visit means only one injection, or no injections if the tooth was previously treated with a root canal. No conventional impressions which means there is no gagging.

  • Aesthetic appeals: The strong, tooth-colored ceramic materials of this new innovation restores your teeth to their natural strength, charm, and function and carefully match the composition of natural tooth structure.

  • Durability: Milled ceramic is stronger than the standard technique of layering and pressing, so your smile will stay gorgeous for multiple years!

  • Fillings: Same day crown material and innovation can also be used for fillings. Because they are made out of porcelain, they are more long lasting than white composite fillings. They are a lot more aesthetic than mercury including silver fillings and stronger because of bonding technology.

If you have anymore concerns about same day crowns or porcelain crowns, please don't hesitate to contact our office today. We will answer any questions you have and you can make an appointment to speak with our dental practitioner face to face.

Today's Discussion Has To Do With:

Digital X-Rays

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental issues.

Discovering problems with x-rays before they become problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the requirement for more extensive, costly procedures or surgeries. X-rays are mostly utilized to discover:

  • Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).

  • Impacted teeth.

  • Teeth that are still coming in.

  • Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.

  • Internal tooth decay.

Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have multiple advantages over conventional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays enable us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from conventional dental x-rays. The worry of exposure to excess radiation is eliminated.

Large on-screen X-rays make client communication more efficient. The immediate observation of the images on the screen allows us to discuss your dental health quickly and accurately.

Digital radiography has significantly improved the practice of dentistry. It enables the client and the doctor to see images of the teeth in greater resolution on a huge format for easier detection of problems, all while reducing the radiation exposure to the patient. The procedure we use further defines the radiograph, resulting in clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.

Images are available immediately after exposure, removing the wait and effort spent developing and installing x-rays. If an image has to be retaken, it can be done immediately. Digital format also allows us to send and receive your images digitally for consultation that can be presented to you quickly.
