Same Day Crowns Restorations
CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take exact digital imagery of areas needing restoration and produce the suitable restoration on the spot.
With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in just one visit. We will design and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to produce your crown.
CEREC can be used in a wide range of indications: anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, onlays, partial crowns and posterior crowns.

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental problems.
Spotting problems with x-rays before they end up being problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the need for more extensive, expensive procedures or surgeries. X-rays are mostly used to spot:
- Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).
- Impacted teeth.
- Teeth that are still coming in.
- Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.
- Internal tooth decay.
Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have a number of advantages over conventional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays enable us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from conventional dental x-rays. The concern of direct exposure to excess radiation is eliminated.
Big on-screen X-rays make client communication more effective. The immediate observation of the images on the screen allows us to discuss your dental health quickly and accurately.
Digital radiography has greatly improved the practice of dentistry. It allows the client and the doctor to see images of the teeth in higher resolution on a huge format for much easier detection of problems, all while reducing the radiation direct exposure to the patient. The procedure we use further defines the radiograph, leading to clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.
Images are available immediately after exposure, eliminating the wait and effort spent developing and mounting x-rays. If an image has to be retaken, it can be done instantly. Digital format also enables us to send out and get your images digitally for consultation that can be presented to you quickly.
