If you have a missing tooth or teeth, you know the embarrassment and pain this can trigger. You have probably been examining ways you can restore your smile and good bite. We believe you will be very interested to know that at our practice, you have the ability to get same day crowns! It is a comfy one-day procedure!

Our entire dental practice is cutting edge, except for our patient care and issue which is standard. We know the pain missing teeth can cause patients, and because of that we are very delighted to be able to offer patients with same day crowns.

Dental crowns are used to reinforce a tooth, and return it to its initial function. Dental crowns are made to color-match the adjacent teeth, so they can not be identified by others as being anything less than a long-term tooth. With a dental crown, you have the ability to eat anything you like, and your clear speech will never be interrupted. In fact, your dental crown is so natural feeling, you will not even know it exists in your mouth.

Same day crowns are a very amazing offering of our practice. We are able to provide you with a gorgeous new smile in just one day. Our office has cutting edge equipment that allows dental practitioners to supply you with crowns in just a small fraction of the time that was required before.

CAD/CAM technology is exactly what makes this interesting development possible. The acronym stands for computer-aided design/computed-aided manufacturing. We have the ability to use this technology in our system. This system is used to fix teeth, start to finish, in one day. This will save you from an additional visit to our practice, a week or two later. We're sure you have a lot more exciting things you would rather do with your time than to sit in our dental practitioner's chair any longer than you need to!

Using our brand-new system, we scan the prepared tooth in your mouth or from an impression, then send the details to our in-office milling station. The restoration is computer-milled to the specific specifications to fit your mouth in minutes. As soon as the crown is crated, we put it in your mouth, and color, polish and restore your brand-new tooth to a gorgeous and natural-looking radiance. This technology can also be used for same-day veneers or inlays.

If you require a crown in a hurry, for an upcoming social or business event, this procedure may indeed be perfect for you. If you have an interest in learning more about this procedure, call us today for an appointment.

Same Day Crowns Restorations

CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take precise digital images of locations requiring restoration and produce the appropriate restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in simply one visit. We will develop and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to produce your crown.

CEREC can be used in a full range of indications: posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, onlays and partial crowns.

The Topic For Today Is:

Digital X-Rays

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental issues.

Detecting problems with x-rays before they become problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the requirement for more extensive, costly treatments or surgeries. X-rays are primarily used to discover:

  • Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).

  • Impacted teeth.

  • Teeth that are still coming in.

  • Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.

  • Internal tooth decay.

Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have a number of advantages over conventional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays enable us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from traditional dental x-rays. The worry of direct exposure to excess radiation is removed.

Large on-screen X-rays make client communication more effective. The instant observation of the images on the screen enables us to discuss your dental health quickly and accurately.

Digital radiography has greatly enhanced the practice of dentistry. It allows the client and the medical professional to see pictures of the teeth in greater resolution on a huge format for much easier detection of issues, all while reducing the radiation direct exposure to the patient. The procedure we use further defines the radiograph, resulting in clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.

Images are available instantly after exposure, getting rid of the wait and effort spent developing and installing x-rays. If an image has to be retaken, it can be done immediately. Digital format also allows us to send and receive your images electronically for consultation that can be presented to you quickly.
