If you have a fractured or busted tooth, are experiencing discomfort when chewing or exposed to hot or cold temperature levels, or wish to eliminate unattractive metal crowns or fillings, then dental crowns might be a great alternative for you. Dental Crowns cover the outter surface of the affected tooth, adding sturdiness and stability to it.

Same-day dental crowns are a choice that we offer on a case by case basis to clients who would gain from the treatment. They allow clients to come to our office and leave within a couple hours with their permanent dental crown in place that same day. This eliminates the need to have a temporary crown placed then another appointment set up for the placement of the final crown.

Our Same-Day Crowns are made with our brand-new innovation that scans the mouth to get the appropriate measurements of your tooth and surrounding teeth, then makes your crown right there in the office. These restorations are extremely strong and long lasting and made out of the highest quality porcelain available. In many cases, a gold crown might be recommended for your posterior teeth (back teeth) if you grind or clench your teeth a lot.

Gold crowns are different from porcelain crowns, and the expense may differ between the two and you may want to talk about your budget plan as well with the your dentist. Your dentist will go over with you the kinds of crowns available and give you a suggestion based on your certain scenario.

Call us to set up a complimentary cosmetic consultation. We look forward to meeting you.

Today's Subject Will Be:

Digital X-Rays

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental issues.

Discovering issues with x-rays before they become problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the need for more extensive, costly procedures or surgeries. X-rays are mostly used to find:

  • Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).

  • Impacted teeth.

  • Teeth that are still coming in.

  • Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.

  • Internal tooth decay.

Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have numerous advantages over traditional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays enable us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from traditional dental x-rays. The worry of exposure to excess radiation is removed.

Large on-screen X-rays make patient communication more efficient. The immediate observation of the images on the screen enables us to discuss your dental health quickly and precisely.

Digital radiography has significantly enhanced the practice of dentistry. It enables the patient and the physician to see pictures of the teeth in greater resolution on a big format for easier detection of problems, all while reducing the radiation exposure to the client. The procedure we use further defines the radiograph, resulting in clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.

Images are available immediately after exposure, getting rid of the wait and effort spent developing and mounting x-rays. If an image has to be retaken, it can be done right away. Digital format also allows us to send and get your images digitally for consultation that can be presented to you rapidly.
