Same Day Tooth Restorations
CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take precise digital images of locations needing restoration and produce the proper restoration on the spot.
With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in simply one visit. We will design and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to fabricate your crown.
CEREC can be used for a broad scope of indications: partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, and onlays.

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental problems.
Spotting problems with x-rays before they become problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the requirement for more extensive, expensive procedures or surgeries. X-rays are primarily used to find:
- Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).
- Impacted teeth.
- Teeth that are still coming in.
- Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.
- Internal tooth decay.
Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have multiple advantages over conventional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays allow us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from conventional dental x-rays. The worry of direct exposure to excess radiation is removed.
Large on-screen X-rays make client communication more effective. The immediate observation of the images on the screen enables us to discuss your dental health quickly and accurately.
Digital radiography has greatly improved the practice of dentistry. It allows the patient and the physician to see images of the teeth in greater resolution on a big format for much easier detection of issues, all while reducing the radiation exposure to the patient. The procedure we use further defines the radiograph, leading to clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.
Images are available instantly after exposure, eliminating the wait and effort spent developing and mounting x-rays. If an image has to be retaken, it can be done immediately. Digital format also allows us to send and get your images electronically for consultation that can be provided to you rapidly.
