Same day crowns
In the past, getting dental crowns implied coming into the dental practitioner's office a minimum of 2 times. The first check-up involved getting an impression of your tooth and a temporary crown. Then, a few weeks later, a 2nd visit permitted the short-term crown to be removed and a new long-term crown to be put on your tooth. We use the latest technology making dental work easier for you and your busy schedule, with same day crowns.

Getting Dental Crowns
We are proud to use a cutting edge same day crown innovation to produce ceramic onlays and crowns that fit just right, in simply one visit with a small camera to create a 3D image of the tooth that needs to be fixed. This indicates a physical mold, which is undesirable and time consuming, is no longer needed.

Using CAD/CAM software, We produce a perfectly fitting restoration using an on-site milling device. This innovation can produce the brand-new restoration in as little as 15 minutes.

The restoration is stuck to your tooth using a bonding product, and the brand-new addition will match your natural teeth so nobody will ever know you had a repair.

Call us today for more information about same day crowns technology, and take care of those problems you might have been putting off.

Today's Topic Is:

Teeth Whitening

Because having whiter teeth has now become the primary aesthetic concern of many clients, there are multiple methods to bleach teeth. The most popular technique is utilizing a home tooth bleaching system that will whiten teeth considerably. Since tooth lightening only works on natural tooth enamel, it is essential to evaluate replacement of any old fillings, crowns, etc. Replacement of any restorations will be done after bleaching so they will match the newly bleached teeth.

Most dentists use numerous methods: customizeded tray bleaching, professional strength white strips, and in-office bleaching.

The tray method involves having impressions taken, which the lab produces into customized vinyl trays. A carbamide peroxide gel is placed in these trays and the trays with gel are worn for about 30 minutes to a full hour. The entire procedure takes about a week of everyday use. Three various strengths of gel might be used, however, the greater the strength, the greater the likelihood of reactions or tooth sensitivity. The tray approach is advised for severely stained teeth, such as tetracycline staining, and it may take numerous months of use to see significant color improvement.

Our in-office treatment is a very quick and practical bleaching process. The visit is roughly one hour including both the preparation and treatment. Our clients enjoy this treatment due to the fact that it is so simple and quick!

Tooth lightening is not permanent. A touch-up may be needed once a year and more often if you smoke and/or drink coffee, tea, or wine. For upkeep of whitened teeth the trays need to be utilized every few months.

Reasons For Tooth Whitening:

  • Yellow, brown stained teeth.

  • Normal wear of outer tooth layer.

  • Florousis (extreme fluoridation throughout tooth development).

  • Stained teeth due to medications (tetracycline, etc.).
