If you have a missing tooth or teeth, you know the humiliation and pain this can trigger. You have probably been investigating methods you can restore your smile and good bite. We think you will be very interested to know that at our practice, you have the ability to receive same day crowns! It is a comfortable one-day procedure!

Our whole dental practice is cutting edge, except for our patient care and concern which is standard. We understand the pain missing teeth can cause clients, and because of that we are really delighted to be able to supply clients with same day crowns.

Dental crowns are used to strengthen a tooth, and return it to its original function. Dental crowns are made to color-match the adjacent teeth, so they can not be identified by others as being anything less than a permanent tooth. With a dental crown, you are able to eat anything you like, and your clear speech will never be interfered with. In fact, your dental crown is so natural feeling, you will not even know it is there in your mouth.

Same day crowns are a very amazing offering of our practice. We have the ability to supply you with a beautiful new smile in simply one day. Our office has state-of-the-art devices that permits dental practitioners to supply you with crowns in simply a little fraction of the time that was needed before.

CAD/CAM innovation is what makes this amazing development possible. The acronym stands for computer-aided design/computed-aided manufacturing. We have the ability to use this innovation in our system. This system is used to fix teeth, start to finish, in one day. This will save you from an extra visit to our practice, a week or so later. We're sure you have a lot more interesting things you would rather do with your time than to sit in our dentist's chair any longer than you need to!

Using our new system, we scan the prepared tooth in your mouth or from an impression, and after that send the info to our in-office milling station. The restoration is computer-milled to the precise specifications to fit your mouth in minutes. As soon as the crown is crated, we position it in your mouth, and color, polish and restore your brand-new tooth to a stunning and natural-looking appeal. This innovation can also be used for same-day veneers or inlays.

If you require a crown in a hurry, for an upcoming social or business event, this process may indeed be ideal for you. If you are interested in learning more about this procedure, call us today for a visit.

Same Day Tooth Restorations

CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take exact digital imagery of locations needing restoration and produce the proper restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in just one visit. We will design and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to fabricate your crown.

CEREC can be used for a full range of indications: partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, and onlays.

Today We Will Be Going Over:

Dental Bonding (Composite)

Bonding is a treatment in which we use a tooth-colored composite material to a tooth, shape it, allow it to harden, and polish it. It can be used in certain scenarios where a tooth has been broken or ended up being stained. These are usually small repairs, ones that can be resolved through this fairly affordable means instead of through a more expensive dental procedure.

How It Works:
Bonding involves adhering composite resin material that is matched to the color of the tooth, to the front of the tooth. This is done to repair damage done to the tooth by decay, to change the positioning of the tooth, close spaces between the teeth, or for cosmetic purposes. First the surface of the tooth is roughed up in order to accept the bonding and hold it. A gel is applied to micro etch the tooth surface area, and a primer/bond agent is used so the material sticks to the surface area. Then the material itself is positioned on the tooth and hardened with intense light. The composite resin material is shaped and polished to get a glossy finish as a last step.
