Same Day Teeth Restorations
CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take accurate digital images of locations needing restoration and produce the appropriate restoration on the spot.
With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in simply one visit. We will develop and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to produce your crown.
CEREC can be used in a broad range of indications: onlays, partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers and inlays.

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental issues.
Identifying problems with x-rays before they end up being problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the requirement for more extensive, costly procedures or surgeries. X-rays are mostly used to detect:
- Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).
- Impacted teeth.
- Teeth that are still coming in.
- Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.
- Internal tooth decay.
Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have a number of advantages over traditional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays allow us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from conventional dental x-rays. The concern of exposure to excess radiation is removed.
Big on-screen X-rays make patient communication more efficient. The instant observation of the images on the screen enables us to discuss your dental health quickly and accurately.
Digital radiography has greatly enhanced the practice of dentistry. It enables the client and the doctor to see images of the teeth in greater resolution on a large format for much easier detection of issues, all while decreasing the radiation exposure to the client. The process we use further defines the radiograph, leading to clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.
Images are available immediately after exposure, eliminating the wait and effort spent developing and mounting x-rays. If an image has to be retaken, it can be done immediately. Digital format also enables us to send and receive your images digitally for consultation that can be provided to you rapidly.
