If you have a missing tooth or teeth, you know the humiliation and pain this can trigger. You have most likely been investigating methods you can restore your smile and excellent bite. We believe you will be really interested to know that at our practice, you are able to get same day crowns! It is a comfy one-day procedure!

Our entire dental practice is cutting edge, except for our patient care and issue which is standard. We understand the discomfort missing teeth can cause patients, and because of that we are extremely happy to be able to provide patients with same day crowns.

Dental crowns are used to strengthen a tooth, and return it to its initial function. Dental crowns are made to color-match the surrounding teeth, so they can not be detected by others as being anything less than a permanent tooth. With a dental crown, you are able to eat anything you like, and your clear speech will never ever be interrupted. In fact, your dental crown is so natural feeling, you will not even know it is there in your mouth.

Same day crowns are an extremely interesting offering of our practice. We are able to provide you with a beautiful new smile in simply one day. Our office has cutting edge equipment that allows dentists to offer you with crowns in just a little fraction of the time that was required previously.

CAD/CAM technology is exactly what makes this exciting development possible. The acronym represents computer-aided design/computed-aided manufacturing. We are able to use this technology in our system. This system is used to restore teeth, start to finish, in one day. This will save you from an extra visit to our practice, a week or two later. We're sure you have a lot more exciting things you would rather do with your time than to sit in our dental practitioner's chair any longer than you need to!

Using our brand-new system, we scan the prepared tooth in your mouth or from an impression, then send out the info to our in-office milling station. The restoration is computer-milled to the exact specifications to fit your mouth in minutes. As soon as the crown is crated, we position it in your mouth, and color, polish and restore your new tooth to a gorgeous and natural-looking appeal. This innovation can also be used for same-day veneers or inlays.

If you require a crown in a hurry, for an upcoming social or business event, this process might certainly be perfect for you. If you have an interest in finding out more about this procedure, call us today for a consultation.

Today's Topic Will Be:

Teeth Whitening

Because having whiter teeth has now become the number one aesthetic concern of most clients, there are a number of methods to whiten teeth. The most popular technique is using a home tooth whitening system that will whiten teeth dramatically. Since tooth lightening just works on natural tooth enamel, it is essential to evaluate replacement of any old fillings, crowns, etc. Replacement of any restorations will be done after whitening so they will match the recently bleached teeth.

Most dentists use numerous approaches: custom made tray bleaching, professional strength white strips, and in-office whitening.

The tray approach involves having impressions taken, which the lab produces into custom vinyl trays. A carbamide peroxide gel is placed in these trays and the trays with gel are worn for about 30 minutes to a full hour. The entire procedure takes about a week of daily use. 3 different strengths of gel may be utilized, however, the greater the strength, the higher the possibility of reactions or tooth sensitivity. The tray approach is recommended for terribly stained teeth, such as tetracycline staining, and it might take numerous months of use to see significant color improvement.

Our in-office treatment is a very quick and hassle-free lightening procedure. The visit is around one hour including both the preparation and treatment. Our clients love this treatment because it is so easy and fast!

Tooth whitening is not permanent. A touch-up might be needed once a year and more often if you smoke and/or drink coffee, tea, or wine. For upkeep of whitened teeth the trays should be utilized every few months.

Reasons For Tooth Whitening:

  • Yellow, brown stained teeth.

  • Normal wear of external tooth layer.

  • Florousis (extreme fluoridation during tooth development).

  • Stained teeth due to medications (tetracycline, etc.).
