If you have a missing tooth or teeth, you know the embarrassment and discomfort this can cause. You have most likely been investigating methods you can restore your smile and great bite. We think you will be very interested to know that at our practice, you are able to get same day crowns! It is a comfy one-day procedure!

Our entire dental practice is advanced, except for our client care and issue which is standard. We know the pain missing teeth can cause clients, and for that reason we are extremely pleased to be able to offer patients with same day crowns.

Dental crowns are used to enhance a tooth, and return it to its initial function. Dental crowns are made to color-match the nearby teeth, so they can not be detected by others as being anything less than a long-term tooth. With a dental crown, you have the ability to eat anything you like, and your clear speech will never be disrupted. In fact, your dental crown is so natural feeling, you will not even know it exists in your mouth.

Same day crowns are a very interesting offering of our practice. We have the ability to provide you with a stunning brand-new smile in simply one day. Our office has advanced equipment that allows dental practitioners to offer you with crowns in just a little fraction of the time that was required previously.

CAD/CAM technology is exactly what makes this interesting development possible. The acronym stands for computer-aided design/computed-aided manufacturing. We are able to use this innovation in our system. This system is used to restore teeth, start to finish, in one day. This will save you from an additional visit to our practice, a week or two later. We're sure you have much more amazing things you would rather do with your time than to sit in our dental practitioner's chair any longer than you need to!

Using our new system, we scan the prepared tooth in your mouth or from an impression, and then send the information to our in-office milling station. The restoration is computer-milled to the specific specifications to fit your mouth in minutes. As soon as the crown is crated, we position it in your mouth, and color, polish and restore your new tooth to a gorgeous and natural-looking radiance. This innovation can also be used for same-day veneers or inlays.

If you need a crown in a hurry, for an upcoming social or business occasion, this process may undoubtedly be ideal for you. If you have an interest in finding out more about this process, contact us today for a consultation.

Today's Topic Will Be:

Teeth Veneers (Porcelain)

Veneers are a really thin pieces of durable, tooth shaped, porcelain that are custom made (for shape and color) by a professional dental lab. They are bonded onto the front of teeth to produce a gorgeous and attractive smile.

Veneers can completely improve your teeth and smile. They can typically be alternatives to crowns and the ideal option in treating many cosmetic dental conditions for the front teeth.

Similar to many dental restorations, veneers might someday need replacement; however, they are still very long lasting and will last multiple years, offering you a long lasting, stunning smile.

How Are Veneers Set?

Veneers are a dental procedure where a covering is positioned over the outside (visible area) of the tooth. Veneers are typically only done to the part of the teeth that are seen when talking or smiling. The treatment can be direct or indirect.

The direct strategy normally involves positioning composite resin on the outside of the tooth using bonding. This method is typically referred to as bonding.

The indirect method normally involves two visits because the veneers will be made at a dental laboratory. At the very first visit the teeth are prepared, impressions taken, and the teeth are offered a temporary covering. In two to three weeks the veneers are back from the lab, the temporaries are removed and the veneers are bonded to the teeth. The laboratory produced veneers are usually made using porcelain or pressed ceramic, and are really esthetic.

The benefit of veneers versus crowns is that much less tooth material is eliminated, and the procedure is generally less uncomfortable. Veneers are not recommended for teeth that have large fillings or little tooth structure.

You will get care instructions for your veneers. Appropriate brushing, flossing and regular dental visits will help in the life of your brand-new and gorgeous veneers.
